((Someone please physically restrain me from coming back to tumblr rp via a character i only know the faintest bit of, from one of the most absurdly expansive canons in fandom history, it’s not a good idea i’ll be in over my head))

but at the same time, shoutout to Rory for that good good Clara Appreciation, I need to go and catch up on the Time Train comics now because thEM
I kind of forget how to do anything on here, like, at all, but i’m available for headcanon-badgering and asks possibly because infectious hype))
Doc: Are those my clocks I hear?
Marty: Yeah, it's 8:00.
Doc: They're late! My experiment worked! They're all exactly twenty-five minutes slow!
Marty: Wait a minute... Wait a minute, Doc! Are you telling me that it's 8:25?
Doc: Precisely.
Marty: Damn! I'm late for elf practice!
((Hi hello yes here’s this I’ll be back shortly to scream))
((Friendly reminder that though Doc never really got up to too much holiday stuff for a long time, he almost definitely is now rockin’ the casual reindeer antlers and ridiculous sweaters now that he has more people to celebrate with.))
((D’you think that, once having time travel became a part of his normal lifestyle, Doc's inventions started turning from "new” things to “known things made with extremely non-intuitive materials”? Like, a literal steam-powered time machine, for example. Because when you have access to the whole of history, everything is going to have been invented and discovered, mostly, at some point along the line. It’d be either a bit depressing, or rather freeing since you can do whatever the heck you want.
I like to think Doc took the “making weird whimsical mishmash of time periods gadgets” route.))
