On DeviantART, I’ve been hosting a group of ‘out of context screenshot’ competitions, and the responses to this one from Pingu yesterday resulted in me laughing the hardest I’ve laughed for a long time due to how darkly hilarious they are. XDD The responses were:

‘Papa Penguin is stoned’

‘ Kids try to get drunk dad up, thinking he is just tired. ‘

‘ Pingu and his sibling return home from an ice fishing trip to find their father died in his sleep, and don't know how to process it. ‘

And the winner XD: ‘ And here we have the trailer for one of the most shameful remakes ever, "Don't Tell Mom the Penguin-sitter's Dead.’ X’’D

Somehow the fact they keep mistaking Pingu and Pinga’s mom for his dad made it even funnier. (But to be honest it is a bit hard to tell from the screenshot ) XD

I’ve been running some ‘out of context screenshot’ competitions with my friends on DA over the last few weeks since March 30th, so I decided to share some of my favourites with you all and the winning captions that my friends came up with. XD If you can come up with any others, I’d be interested in hearing them too. :D

Anyone remember the Earthworm Jim cartoon? XD I bought it on DVD recently, and I forgot how many odd moments you get in it like this one - context doesn’t help XD (But to be honest, this is one of the TAMER things in there XD)
