Forgive me for bringing this up, but reading your headcanon from last night, you make it sound like Grave is virtually unbeatable. You basically said only one person could actually truly beat her.

I won’t deny that that’s what I said, no, because that’s what I meant. From my general understanding of what’s happened so far in canon, that’s what seems to be the most likely explanation. I would be happy to listen to what you or anyone else might have to say that would refute this, of course, but currently, since that’s what the canon material implies, that’s what I go with.

That being said, it’s for this reason that I’ve actually found that doing unplanned fight threads with Grave isn’t as fun as I want it to be, and honestly a little taxing on me. I personally prefer having more evenly matched odds, whether or not the end result has been planned out beforehand, and I have tried to make it a bit more even, but at the same time…. It’s hard for me to go against what the canon material says (for reasons that I’d prefer to only talk about privately).

I guess, to end this, I won’t be upset if anyone doesn’t want to do a fight thread with her, and, as I said already, but I feel like it bears repeating, I would be happy to debate this with anyone that feels like this might not be true. I’m completely open to seeing what anyone else has to say on the matter.

Thoughts on the Demon of Gluttony and its life/role in the Second Period under the cut.

So like

What if this demon did experiments too? What if those experiments were how to revive the dead?

Maybe it performed tests on various deceased creatures in an attempt to bring them back to life, cutting them open to study them and then stitching them back up and casting different kinds of magic on them. It knew that, to complete its experiments, it would have to figure out how to return souls to the bodes, but that was for later. For the time being, its focus was on just reviving them and regrowing the dead cells to bring them back with a functioning and healthy body.

And eventually, it struck on success. It discovered a magic technique that would not only bring the dead back to life, but renew their body in the process. The memories were still intact, but they were still mindless. But that didn’t matter. It was a step in the right direction. But its experiments and tests were cut short by the evacuation of the Second Period. It was, of course, among the many chosen to escape, because it was not being controlled by Malice. But at some point after that, it did contract HER. A previously latent infection that was now taking hold of it, and was at least part of why it rebelled against Sickle and was locked away with its other five remaining kin and the twin gods.

And another thing--

What did it look like? Did Sickle, like with Levia and Behemo and the demon of Pride, change its form in some way?

And what if one of its experiments in the Second Period was Worldeater?

Honestly part of why the Netsumas were even mentioned in the Venomania novel and Hakua was part of his harem was because of Irina destroying her home leading him to finding her and Irina using her sister for a human vessel.

I actually really love pointing out the gross and simply frowned upon things that Banica will eat that no one thinks about.

But honestly for serious (instead of glorious trashshipping) I am friendshipping Castiel with Pollo~

Pollo loves Castiel because Castiel is probably the only one with the time and desire to play with him and he’s a lot more fun and dynamic than the zombies are.

They break things sometimes but since Castiel is having fun Banica doesn’t mind too much and only scolds them a little.
