Floaroma town was the epitome and description of beauty. There were endless flower fields, dotted amongst the flowers were many bug type Pokemon, Combee in particular, pollunating the flowers. Touko found the view stunning. There was nowhere like this back in Unova, not by far. 

She’d actually come here to investigate the recent events of what happened with the space / time legendary Pokemon, as part of her independant research. She’d as of so far, been unable to find the trainers involved in the situation, and the man behind the incident was supposedly trapped inside the realm they’d fought in.

Either way, Touko had been informed that a part of the meteorite that crashed into Hoenn, had split off, and landed at a site not too far from Floaroma Town. This meteorite had connections to the Pokemon Deoxys, and Touko wouldn’t let a chance like this to learn more about the Pokemon, pass.

Making her way into the flower field, Touko noted to herself how most girls would refuse to go anywhere near a combee. Why did she fall so far from that apple tree? She saw them as gentle creatures, yet many were afraid. She couldn’t understand. Perhaps it was experience? Maybe she’d seen and done more dangerous things -- or maybe she’d never experienced a combee swarm before.

As she headed more so to the back, the flower fields only expanded more and more, and as such, Touko found herself losing track of her direction. That WAS until she spotted someone, and she stood on her tippy toes, cupping her hands to her mouth. 

“Hey! Excuse me? Can you hear me?”

She waves her hands above her head, hoping to get his attention.

( Touko & Iris ) ;; Heart of Gold

Setting foot onto Unovan land felt.... different. Seven long years Hilda had been away from Unova, and her feet, planted firmly on the floor, felt ethereal. She was really home. She was really here. 

And she was afraid.

All her friends, her family, everyone she’d left behind was here, waiting for her. How had they changed? How had they moved forward without her? Was Cheren still his hard working idealistic self? Did Bianca ascertain her dream of becoming a musical star?

What about Touya, or the gym leaders? She’d heard that Lenora had stepped down to allow a new trainer to become the gym leader.

But... as she thought deeply about these things, she realised that one, if not all of her answers, were waiting close by. 

The tepig, sat on her shoulder, huffed, causing Touko to pay attention to the direction he was staring in.

Not too far from them was a familliar sense of style, a hair style that was clearly recogniseable from a mile away....

Iris.

According to the rumours she’d heard whilst in Hoenn, Iris had become Unova’s new champion, and if it were true, Touko would be facing the person who usurped her title from the champion that came after her. She expected that she’d definitely changed. 

Actually no. Touko has no idea what to expect. She stands there, blinking for a moment, before clearing her throat, and approaching.

“Excuse me.... Iris...?”
