I would first like give credit where it is due for this idea. Since she is implementing a similar system. Ginny, you are a wonderful person and a talented writer. Thank you for allowing me to implement your idea into my own blogs. Now, onto the reason for this PSA.
Lately, I have been inactive and my muse has been lacking. I can only blame the holiday season for this as it has completely drained me. This year had been harder on me more than the rest; that said this new idea I will be implementing not only is designed to assist me in my activity but also diminish my stress level. Effectively, it will turn role-play back into more of a hobby for myself, rather than a career to which I get no payment from.
Here is what is going to happen, starting on Monday:
Universes, and paragraphs respectively will be replied to on assigned days whether than allow them to build in my drafts until I become swamped and stressed out. For example, if I have a universe with Jilly and one with Billy, the universe paragraph I have with Jilly would be replied to on every Monday, and the one I have with Billy will be replied to on every Tuesday. It is a slower process, but it helps keep the stress off of me and opens up my activity so I don't get bored and decide to browser the Internet rather than work on my drafts. The only exception will be if my muse decides to reply early -- for example the muse wishes to reply to Jilly all day on Monday, and a little on Tuesday.
What this will help with is for me to be able to have more active dash interaction with other players. I can respond to opens. I can do things which I called rapid fire paragraphs (literally only on paragraph or 100 words). And I can answer my asks, and toss texts posts out in a more timely manner. This also allows me to freely plot with more people.
The second change is I will be putting into affect a 'rule of three'. This means that I will only have up to three universes per player on each account. So, for example once more I have three universes with Jilly on Erik, but only two with Billy. That doesn't mean Jilly can have three more universes with me on say Stiles or Derek. Plus, Billy is still able to start a third universe with me on Erik.
I strive to be fair to everyone, and again with the help of Ginny, this allows me to be completely fair and more organized with my replies and my activity. Again, I will be starting this one Monday when I wake up. This is just a heads up to let everyone know about these changes.
If you would like to plot, my ask box is always opened and you can reach me through there. I don't give out my Skype off the bat unless we are going to go into in-depth plotting.
TL;DR: I'm changing shit to be more fair so I can be active. Cool? Cool.
