Something I just need to get out of my system briefly

I don’t understand how people have gone from “Hey you should check out this piece of media but fair warning it’s got *insert pile of potentially triggering content here*” (Dramatical Murder, Killing Stalking etc.) “So I’ll totally tag things as needed”

to

“Hey I heard you were interested in this piece of media and yes this character gets so much worse before getting better but I don’t see what the problem is because its just fiction.”

Do I just need new friends? >> Is that the problem here? Like yeah I don’t like waving around my little blue abuse survivor flag and in fact I should HAVE to just to prove a fucking point about being a decent person about potentially sensitive content god.

Is it really to much to ask people to both tag a few things but also to respect the fact that some people need to know what exactly they’re getting into before diving headfirst into new media/fandom when it’s all finished and out there? I’m more than willing to give stuff a shot but I at least wanna be mentally prepared for what I might see.

Today is the day that I “would” be leaving for ACEN, hitting up the five hour bus ride with two bags packed as much as possible and picked up the badge for plopping back in the room and just mentally prepared for the personal insanity of wearing nine cosplays in three days and being utterly sore by 6pm each night grumbling “worth it” after each quick change before skipping off to the next group photoshoot (that staff was more than likely gonna fuck over at least once)

While at the moment I’m not all that bummed at the moment I will likely spend the next few days working on the stuff that should have been finished by now instead of the pile of drafts.

OJ’s 2019 “Follow Forever” List!

Officially six years as a tumblr rper, and close to ten as a general rper. Couple things to take note of:

Dropped just one or two things from drafts. I’m just tired like all the time now as days off are now back to poking at cosplay things and I sure as hell don’t have many brain cells after work so still gonna be a slow ass rp turtle
