I'm gonna be real, I completely forgor, which is crazy cause it's on my "to write" list GKFDSHK
HOWEVER as you have now reminded me I will absolutely go and and draw even more of it. I'll probably write all the lore additions I've made to this AU as well GHFJDGSHJ
I mostly wanted to show off the contract mark on Ryusui's hand (because it's a mix of Ryusui's and Francois' petrification marks muhehehehe) but is somehow ended up as me playing with perspective - and also realising i can't draw snakes, if that wasnt obvious HFDGSHKJ
also Ryusui with freckles because the voices (me) told me to.
[The Summoning]
imma have to splain this one too...
Originally, I was gonna have Ryusui be the one to summon Francois - however, I decided it would hurt even more if Ryusui BELIEVED he was the one to summon Francois, but it was actually Sai that summoned them, having called them through his Dying Wish
[[Lore drop; In this AU, dying wishes have little chance of being granted, depending on what entity decides to grant it - Sai wished for someone to take care of Ryusui, and Francois arrived to take Sai's soul in order to serve Ryusui.]]
Francois has no intent on taking Ryusui's soul - they're more interested in seeing if the boy can drive his ambition all the way back to hell.
Before Francois was summoned - Ryusui's family was effectively hunted/assassinated to take them out of the game (and give rival corporations more to compete), and now that Ryusui is the last of the Nanami family, still holding his crown above the rest - he is a prime target. Francois could handle each assassination attempt themselves, but after a few too many close calls, they decide to finally make a few calls back to hell - which is where Senku, Kohaku, Chrome, and Gen get summoned.
Everything continues to be fine and dandy - but the other demons Bicker all the time, which leads to certain parts of the estate almost getting destroyed because either Senku blew the place up, or Kohaku threw Gen through a wall (again). So, Francois went to an old acquaintance they knew from many millennia ago.
Finally, this is where Ukyo comes in - a deserter angel who exchanged many favours with Francois, such as requesting assistance in his abandonment of heaven with his wings and divine power in tact. Ukyo still owes a favour to Francois, so he is brought in to keep everyone else in check - though, he does get dragged into things almost all the time, but at least the rate of the estate explode has dropped around 89%. He rarely ever shows him angelic form, as his mere divine light can blind those tainted with sin, but his wings are still visible, though only to those that are demonic/angelic in nature or simply in contract with an entity. His role is to play footman at the estate (unlike the others who have very unspecified titles) mostly because he's the only other servant beside Francois with decorum HFJDKSGK
