Ruby taking charge as usual
Don’t mind me, just gushing about my fav over here. Here’s the leader of team RWBY being a leader in episode 5 of Ice Queendom! It’s not always obvious, but Ruby does a lot of calling the shots and moving them onwards. Would do this for the main show too, it’d take days to find everything though.
1) Immediately volunteering to go back in after having been quite possibly murdered in there just minutes ago. It’s her responsibility as leader! (you poor girl, not everything is your responsibility ugggh V9 can’t come soon enough) Yang and Blake assures her they’ll be able to handle it and it won’t compromise their mission, and Ruby concedes.
2) Okay, let’s go! (Yes, I’m counting everything)
3) Okay, let’s open it! (yes, I’m counting everything)
4) Let’s all look for the entrance! (after which they split up to look around)
5) Let’s use a decoy! (Blake makes the decoy with her semblance, saving the coin, but it was still Ruby’s call to use a decoy here.)
6) Ruby is the first to enter the fountain entrance thing, then immediately makes sure they’re all through.
7) ...why don’t we just play along? (followed by Ruby and Yang “surrendering” in order to be led to the room in the tower)
8) She’s the one reporting to Shion after finding the relic. As leaders do. (sigh... relating a bit too much here)
9) Yang stops her from using another coin... yeah Ruby’s always moving a mile a second. Ruby figured she’d get Blake, but Yang argues there’s no point making a door since they can’t leave the room without rousing suspicion anyway. Then Blake shows up seconds later, and after staying behind Yang ends up making a door in there anyway, just like Ruby wanted to do.
10) One of us should stay so Weiss doesn’t notice.
11) Use one of your coins, Yang! (to make the door Yang was trying to stop Ruby from making earlier lol)
12) Ruby figures there must be two relics because there are two in real life. Smart gal.
