Chatting with the wife today...

About how the siblings and I are so fucked. We are because we are so jaded that the kindness we have received makes us nervous.

We are on edge, wondering when we will find out they actually hate us or have an ulterior motive to bring kind to us. That the only people we are used to receiving kindness from is them, the wife and husband.

She nodded in understanding. "Yeah, waiting because we are so used to people being nice to our faces and then turning around annex stabbing us in the back!!" She then pulls out her phone and shows me the email one of her management team sent out to the others. He was praising her hard work, calling her an integral part of the team, how in the two months she has been working there it had raised his own standards.

"Everyone is SO KIND!" She said, "i thought they hated me!"

So we are sitting there laughing about how weird it is to be treated this way. We still have our walls up, but I'm glad sheets is bright treated kindly too. She drives me insane and makes me question things, but i love her and want her to be happy beyond words.

The little sis was grateful to hear about our conversation, she admitted to feeling like we were crazy. That it was just the the of us feeling like that. Lol.

I pray that people continue to be kind to my family. They need it.
