Overcome your Fear

Are you experiencing that fear of failure, fear of success, fear of rejection?

Do you want to overcome that fear, that road block that you may be experiencing?

We all face obstacles, we all face rejection…

Why not flip over the argument and understand that everything you do is a learning experience.

If someone rejects you or does not take up your offer, find out why? Why they did not take up the offer? Ask them? Why could I not get that sale? What could I have dine better? - Ask for at least one reason or were you may improve? Enquire!

As you receive feedback? Take the feedback and look at it objectively? How can you improve your service, your product offering to overcome those rejections in the future?

When you beat your fears you can take back your life! Most of us don’t even realize how much fear and indecision paralyzes us. Make sure you are being positive in the way you speak to yourself. Don't fall in love with the applause, fall in love with the work... Part of being a creative means that you "feel" your way through life rather thank "think" your way through. It's been almost 3 months since I last posted to Instagram. I've gone weeks without replying to emails. I haven't taken on a commission in a few months. People have been messaging me to see if I'm okay and I want to assure you all I'm doing just fine. As my page started getting more attention I started getting more caught up in worrying about the numbers and how many like I would get, rather than putting my focus on the art itself. This is a dangerous place to be as an artist. When I started to think about making art I felt so much pressure to make something as good as my previous pieces... Something that would get more likes than my past work. That's when I decided that it was time to take a break and shut everything down for a while. I put down my pen and picked up my guitar. I currently spend hours each day focusing on music, though I still plan time to doodle every now and then. Don't fall in love with the applause, fall in love with the work. .
