Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. 

To remember the loved ones we've lost, Harm Reduction Coalition, in partnership with an incredibly generous donor, has created the Dan Bigg Any Positive Change Award.

INTERNATIONAL OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY (IOAD) is a global event held on August 31st each year and aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma associated with drug-related deaths. If you are from South Florida and would like to get involved in supporting tomorrow’s International Overdose Awareness Day, you can take part in the march and rally at Florida Atlantic University.

When: Friday, August 31, 3-7 pm

Where: 3110 W. Taylor St. Chicago, IL 60612 Free food, activities, and naloxone!

From our friends at Chicago Recovery Alliance: Whether you can or can’t attend, please consider sending us a tribute/testimonial in the form of a short (1 minute) video or audio recording or written message. Greg Scott will be compiling all tributes into a video piece that will project on a screen during the memorial event. We will make the same tribute video available to everyone via the Sawbuck Productions website and the CRA and Sawbuck Facebook pages.
