Trusting God
Trust (n.) - reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence
* [also meaning] safekeeping , dependence , reliance , hope , faith and liability
Often times we tend to insult God and what He's more than capable of doing for us , in us, through us and in our lives. We tell God " You know I trust you Lord" but our intent is "I trust you to do SOME things Father but this, yeah I got this on my own" .
We don't trust Him with EVERYTHING and when I say everything I mean your emotions, your thoughts, the situations and struggles you may be going through or dealing with , the hurt and regret you hold and so much more . We trust Him only so much until we decide to take our situations from God's hands and into our own and then end up with failed results because of our attempt .
Trusting God means that you have to invest your complete and utter reliance , every fiber of your being into Him understanding that it's all in his timing on not your own . You must depend on Him with your whole heart , pressing into your faith a little deeper and bringing your hopes and expectations up a little higher . Often times we have deadlines to meet and requirements to live up to that when God doesn't come through quick enough we begin to panic and in our desperation we move when God hasn't even given us the okay to move .
Because we moved out of place without receiving the green light FIRST, we've now put ourselves deeper into a miscommunication with God and now we feel as though things are now out of order . Things are out of order in your situation because you became uncertain , you became impatient , you WAITED ON GOD but because He was TAKING TOO LONG, you began to DOUBT what He is able to do for you...
You've got to get to a place where you trust God . Never does the bible say to worry , or to stress , or to panic or to fear, but always the bible speaks about trusting God and casting your cares upon Him. HE'S ALWAYS RIGHT ON TIME , and I mean exactly on time . Right when you're between "Lord I don't know what I'm going to do now" and "I'm on the verge of giving up" , God shows up and shows out . His glory is shown within that moment because He came through not allowing you to fail in any way, shape or form .
You may have felt like you wanted to scream at the top of your lungs, like you were backed up against a wall or like you've wanted to fall to your knees in weakness because YOU FEARED that God wasn't going to do for you in your time of desperation , in your time of urgency . That He was going to completely skip over your problem as if you never cried out to Him for help at all because time was running short.....and you began to over-think .....and because you began to over-think you've shifted your focus from God to your situation and now that you're focused on your situation....you feel as though it's up to you to handle what it is your going through knowing that you can't do it on your strength alone....
Peace be still ! Stop trying to figure things out on your own when you weren't meant to.You need to learn to silence the noise within so that you can hear God and understand how He's functioning , although you may never truly grasp how He works everything out. Trusting God ties into stepping out on faith. Stepping out on faith is just another way of saying you don't know how things will get done but you believe that it's already been done, in Jesus name.
Trust in God's timing. Trust in God, period ! Not with some things or some situations but all things and everything . Because He can do all things and through Him absolutely nothing is impossible .
Be encouraged on this beautiful . God bless !
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding."
-Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)
