This right here is a woman whose dream came true. I cannot thank Cody Rhodes enough for taking a photo with me. He didn’t have to. He was being rushed out to go return to the back, but he stopped.
I was stunned. I didn’t even say anything but thank you. But I don’t think I said it loud enough for him to hear me. After he went back to gorilla, I broke down crying.
This Smackdown had him be in the beginning, middle, and end of the show. I got that air kiss, I got to give the little high five, and now I got this selfie.
I laugh back at this photo a bit because I’m so short and he bent down to be level with me. I am surprised part of our foreheads touched. I didn’t realize it until now that our arms were like that. Look at how big my smile is!
I always wondered when it would be my turn. I have seen so many people get photos with him (at shows or buying photo op tickets). And while I was happy for them, I was also jealous. But I never lost hope.
Dreams can come true. I achieved tjis. Now I move the goal posts. I want to be able to tell him how much he inspires me and tell him how he made me fall back in love with wrestling.
I’ll never forget that night. I’ll never forget this feeling.
Thank you, Cody Rhodes. 💜
