I’m 99% sure it’s just me projecting and warping my weird low-key Nine Inch Nails obsession but as I’ve been listening to my shiny new stereo in my car (where I loaded up a thumb drive full of, you guessed it, NiN and some other stuff)

but I feel like they were listening to some of the more recent NiN albums when they were writing like the whole last half of Person of Interest because some of the themes of the songs match really really well

Also as much as I HATE WHAT HAPPENED, they fucking nailed the scene where they matched the lyrics to what was happening on the screen
