Hey mods, I gotta bit of a question for yall. I write fanroutes for VNs - aka I write "routes" for canonically non-romanceable characters. I've got 2 in progress for L&L (Lennox and Jinhai, also planning Magnus) right now, but I always love any excuse to play through new stories. So for any completed story in Lovestruck (it HAS to be a completed one, since incomplete ones still might get new LIs) do you guys have any sort of recommendations for fanroutes I could/should write? Thanks in advance!

1. favorite fic

this is a tough one actually slfkskdks

storytime was super fun to write and i'm quite happy with the result! dating simulator was also incredibly fun too and i have really good memories of when i was writing it. sunlight and midday phantom were very self indulgent bc boy i love ghost stories like that i have to write another one. and honorary mention to be still my foolish heart bc man, that was something i wrote sldkslkds i want to write more things with a bigger cast, i love all the characters so much aaa

but i think i'm going to answer with quiet melodies, bc i'm still really proud of it, even if it's been so long!

7. favorite character to write in your favorite fic

i'm pretty sure the answer is obvious but it's undoubtedly aizou, i love writing him, it's so fun sldkskdks he's such a great character. back when i wrote it, we didn't really know that much about him yet and writing him was already very enjoyable and now that we know more it's even better he's,,, so dumb and in love

it's been a while since i last reread it but i'm pretty sure it's still quite in character too i should reread it.

acording to my notes from then, it was the sentence "the first time Aizou saw him, he wouldn't have believed how important he would end up being" which is interesting skfkskdks

i remember not even knowing what kind of soulmate au should it be, i just knew it would be one and that i'd relate it to some of the songs skdksk and man i wish i had included repaint bc one of the lyrics was literally "try singing with the guitar you abandoned long ago" like man that was literally a plot point in the fic and i really? didn't know about it? what skdkslkds

They were set to marry, either via unwanted arranged marriage or genuine love. But one of them - let's say Lest - was chosen to deliver those... Ball things. Submission - A is Famous, B is Not

A pulls a diva move in the middle of a photoshoot and won’t take anymore pictures until their agent gives them a free day to spend with B.

B is getting tired of paparazzi following them everywhere so A agrees to fake-break up.

A pulls a diva move in the middle of a photoshoot for some dumb reason and their agent has to call B to calm them down from whatever upset them so much.

A is a genuine brat and narcissist, always only doing shit for themself or just because it’s ‘fun’, and they only help one person ever out of the genuine goodness of their heart - B.

A confesses on TV that they have feelings for an old friend, B, and B keeps rewinding it because they cAN’T BELIEVE-

B is A’s fan and runs a fanblog dedicated to them. A follows it.

B hates A’s music/movies/whatever and when they meet, B is not shy about letting them know this. A is intrigued because no one has ever let them know their genuine opinion before.

Everyone knows that A has to be dating someone because A keeps coming out with love songs but no one can figure out who it is. Cue everyone in B’s life debating the matter and B trying SO hard to stay quiet.

People write about all kinds of stuff for all kinds of reasons! You're not exactly the only ones we write about. Just, uh... If you venture further into it, don't read E rated fics. Just don't. Trust me. You'll have a heart attack. And then your internet history will be found and then whoever finds it (hopefully not Poppy or Biggie or someone equally pure) will have a heart attack. It'll be a cycle of heart attacks!

Why--why would give it someone a heart attack??? Is this stuff not safe?? Is there anything I can do to make it safer???

I did not have a computer for a month or two there! But yes, I’m alive, and I do in fact still like this ship! Because I stopped pretending this wasn’t a shipping blog a while ago. I just usually daydream about it on the backburner.
