I made a comic for my Overseer AU! Enjoy!
I found them!!!
@writingforatwistedworld was the person I read the OverSeer AU from first and they are the inspo for my little remix of it for my Yuu OC version of it.
Now, my OverSeer AU.
The building blocks are carried over mildly. The main difference is mixing this with my own headcanon world of Twist.
So from the beginning, the OverSeer has always been the guiding light and prime holy figure of Twisted Wonderland. the Great Seven and other minor historical figures are seen as divinely blessed which is how and why they were so great. At some point of their lives, people said to be blessed by the OverSeer would see them in their dreams to gain inspiration and knowledge.
(Here come the main differences)
Such people are foretold to be born by the 'Speaker'; an ancient fae who would leave his mountain home on the day of their birth to speak their future and all of the wonderful things they'll do. So far only Briar Valley knows where this damn mountain is so they were the ones who gave the info that a new muse was born into the world.
No one TALKS to the Speaker. The Speaker is kinda murdery to anyone who comes into his mountain uninvited and he never invites people period. He is seen as second only to the OverSeer since he is known as the last direct line to the OverSeer's will. People in the past tried to talk to him more to gain more insight on the multiple issues the worshipers were having with each other's practices, only to be killed for entering his mountain. One day, the Speaker came out from the mountain and had a one-sided conversation for hours, seeming to answer questions about himself before he went back into his mountain.
Plenty of people in Briar Valley speculated what the fuck that was. It wasn't an announcement of a new muse since the sentence structure didn't match the multiple other examples in history. It's even more confusing when it's noted the Speaker came out on the OverSeer's birthday, a day that no one has ever been born on...The Valley sent the message out, saying the Speaker descended his mountain but no country can report a baby being born (Plenty tried to lie, but they were disproven from STYX's intense testing since this muse would be born on the OverSeer's birthday).
15 years later, Yuu is brought to Twist, thoroughly confused on why almost everyone is cultishly devoted to the OverSeer. It takes nearly a year for the twist boys to realize they gain the same amount of fulfillment from worshiping the alter of the OverSeer as they do from helping Yuu with a favor.
The basic idea is that Yuu is a new Speaker, an unknowing messiah to Twisted Wonderland.
I wanna talk about this more but I have SO many ideas in my head about this that I can't organize it well enough. Please send asks if you wanna hear more about it and story beats!
💿 THE OVERSEER
director dean beam!!! huge dump lol more below
"YOU'RE THE SYMPHONY OVERSEER?!" - AUDREY
"...Who are you..?"- Kiwi
Context, after Audrey shot them with lighting, they fell to a terrible death, and became an overseer, why? because it's a sick idea no one came up with! They also lost their memories but remember Miriam because she's the fairy of the Symphony overseer, AKA Kiwi.
Overseer AU: The Meeting
I'm back y'all! and for fun, there's a picture to go along the chapter at the end!
Sausage is brought to the Jedi temple to discuss his Dark half. Niserra arranges a meeting with him, where she reveals who she is. 5 ‘standard months’ after AFA 13.
****
Sausage was brought to the room of the council, calming his nerves as much as he could. He wasn’t told much about this meeting, but he expected the worst.
The room was open, save for a dozen or so seats situated in a semicircle where the members of the council sat. He took his place in the center, assuming his position.
The Jedi in the middle of the semicircle addressed him, Sausage guessed he was the Headmaster.
“Jedi Master Mythical Sausage, I presume?”
“Yes,” Sausage answered.
“Then you are the successor of the deceased Master Gem, correct?” He asked.
Sausage lowered his eyes slightly, remembering what he did. “Yes.”
Another Jedi spoke up. “Do you know what she had done, in terms with your being?”
Oh, it's this topic. “Yes,” Sausage answered. “She separated the Darkness from inside me. That resulted in there being a Dark variant of me, only holding the Dark side, and the Light variant, the Light side, being separate.”
A few members murmured amongst themselves, glancing back to Sausage in short intervals. Sausage could easily guess what they were thinking about. Gem had told him that no one had fully separated themselves from the Dark side, not even artificially. So for them to hear an account from possibly the only being in the galaxy who experienced this first-hand is far from ordinary.
And they don’t even know the next part of the story.
The Headmaster spoke. “So we can assume your ‘Dark self’ is the one responsible for the deaths in Crystlos City?”
Sausage exhaled. “Yes. He broke out from the Carbonite he was frozen in, and killed Master Gem.”
A third member spoke next. “Where is he now? If he is unlocated, it's only a matter of time till he strikes next.”
Sausage furrowed his brows at the question. They don't know? If they knew about Crystlos, surely they’d know about that.
“He confronted me only four weeks ago, threatening to harm my friends. He did manage to overtake me, but my Padawan distracted him enough for me to contain him.”
“So you have slain him?” The second member asked.
“No. I didn’t know whether killing him would kill me, so I merged back with him.”
A small red light blinked on the console beside the first member, but he ignored it. He looked Sausage up and down, then asked. “Can you elaborate on that?”
“Elaborate?” Sausage raised an eyebrow. “What else is there to say about this? I was separated from my Dark side, then I rejoined with him.”
More whispers came from the members, even the Headmaster looked at Sausage with shock.
The Headmaster straightened up, more attentive than before. “...and you can control him?”
“I can control myself,” Sausage corrected. “I am willing to take the punishment placed aside for him, as he is me.”
“It’s not just that,” The Headmaster clarified. “It's that your very presence is-”
A loud beep interrupted him. He turned to the console where the red light still blinked. He held a button down as he spoke.
“Overseer, we were just-”
“Bring Master Sausage to me.” The voice on the other end cut him off.
The Headmaster stared at the device in front of him, then looked back to Sausage with a pale expression. “B-but Overseer, he-”
“Are you defying my request, Headmaster?” The voice retorted.
The Headmaster swallowed. “N-no, of course not, Overseer.”
“Then bring him to me.” The voice finished.
The council room fell silent, the members looking at the Headmaster for an answer. The Headmaster exhaled, then broke the silence. “Master Colen, take Master Sausage to Overseer Niserra’s office.”
****
The walk down the hall was quiet, but that seemed fine being as Sausage had many, many questions.
Does the council really doubt a Jedi keeping themself in check? That’s literally what a Jedi has to do. And who is this overseer of the council that makes even the Headmaster anxious?
They arrived at a door almost like a vault. Master Colen waved his hand above the control panel. Its components shifted and the door clicked, unlocking and sliding open. Sausage nodded to himself, reminded that gadgets like this reside in Jedi-adjacent locations.
The two walked in, the room decorated with red carpets and furniture with gold accents. At the end of the room was a dark wooden desk, and sitting at the desk was a woman, who Sausage assumed was the person who requested this.
The woman had bright brown hair, only falling down to the tip of her shoulders. She had a short brown jacket with the sleeves rolled up to above her elbow. Her blue eyes gave Sausage a strange sense of familiarity, but what?
The two stepped forward to the front of the desk. The woman addressed Master Colen.
“Thank you Master Colen. You may leave us.”
Colen looked at her wide-eyed, glancing to Sausage and back to her. She gave him a stern head-nod, confirming her decision. Colen looked at Sausage one more time before turning around and leaving both him and the woman alone.
The woman gave a relieved sigh. “Finally. I’ve been expecting this meeting, Mythical Sausage.”
Sausage looked at her quizzically. Have I met her? How else would I have this feeling?
The woman stood up, now revealing something that made Sausage hold in a gasp. On her left forearm was pink, orange, and blue glowing rings and runes, each simultaneously spinning. I’ve seen those before… but where?
The woman walked around her desk and strode to be in front of him.
“Allow me to introduce myself. I am Overseer Niserra.”
Niserra searched his eyes for something Sausage couldn’t pin-point. She continued. “You don’t need to introduce yourself, I know who you are.”
Sausage stammered uneasy. “Uh, okay?”
“So, your master, Gem.” Niserra spoke. “She separated you from your Dark side, as you put it.”
“Yes,” Sausage answered.
“And then you rejoined with your Dark self after?”
How much of the conversation has she heard? “Yes,” Sausage replied.
Niserra nodded, almost showing a hint of excitement. She tapped the runes on her arm in a syncopated pattern. To his astonishment, the pink ring extended from her arm and she stretched it out. The ring extended further and inside it was a near black void, with the occasional stars showing the extent of the void.
Without skipping a beat, Niserra walked through the formed rift, and motioned Sausage to follow. “It helps if you don’t look down, trust me.”
Sausage shivered at that, but hesitantly followed her in. The void felt cold, yet no temperature emitted from anywhere, nor did it feel there was any presence of the Light side, or the Dark side.
As if the Force had no effect here…
Niserra tapped on the runes again and the rift closed behind them, making Sausage more anxious than before.
“Where are we?” Sausage finally found the courage to ask.
Niserra tapped on her runes again, the orange ones spun in a different pattern and an orange hologrammed page unfolded in front of her. “This is the Foundation. At least, that’s what I call it, no one besides me comes here to give it a proper name.”
More pages appeared around her, and even in front of Sausage. The page read “Force Bonds.”
“This place is linked to the whole galaxy and the Force.” Niserra continued. “Every Force-related ability used throughout the galaxy is recorded here, through me.”
Sausage furrowed his brows. “The Force doesn’t need a person to track what it does or does not do. Then it's not the Force.”
Niserra gave him a sceptical look. “But the Force works through all beings, does it not?”
Sausage bit his lip, she did have a point. And for all he knew, Niserra could do anything to him if he stepped too far.
“So tell me,” Niserra started. “When your Dark self attacked you, did you notice him wince in pain?”
Sausage stared at her in disbelief. “How…?”
Niserra gave him a sly grin.
He shook from the revelation as he answered. “No, when he zapped me with Force Lightning, I didn’t see him react in pain.” Niserra balled her hand in a fist, quickly exhaling soon after. “And what about when Hermes shocked him, did you feel any effect?”
Sausage stepped back trembling. He didn’t tell the council Hermes' name, how did she know? The Jedi council does not approve of attachments, so does she know his relation to Joel?
Niserra noticed his discomfort. “Forgive me, that was a bit straightforward.”
A bit?! You know the name of my son, and what he did! Sausage slowed his breathing as much as he could, he forgot how many emotions he now has to keep in check.
“It was hard to tell,” Sausage finally said. “I was still in pain from before. He had attacked me mostly by Force Lightning, so it was hard to notice any extra shock from there. Especially from Hermes because his lightning isn't as strong as a Sith’s.”
Niserra lifted her head and scrunched her eyebrows in. She looked at him as she asked “Then how come he reacted the same as before?”
“Before?” Sausage failed to follow along. He thought back as far as he could, then a memory from him came back. Sausage took a shaky breath. “...Xornoth. Is he-?”
“He’s alright,” Niserra interrupted. “He was able to get his wounds tended to after he hid.”
Sausage let out a sigh of relief, but it still didn’t solve any of his questions, that seem to stack up after everyone he meets.
“Here,” Niserra said as she tapped on her runes again. Orange and blue light swirled around and disappeared, revealing an empty holocron case in its stead. She handed it to Sausage, still reeling with confusion. “Record all you know about Force Separation and keep it hidden.”
“You don’t need it?” Sausage asked.
“Like I said,” Niserra replied. “This place holds all the information of the Force. Once you record it, it will appear here.”
Sausage looked at Niserra almost in awe. “Who are you?”
A sly smirk appeared again on her face, a sparkle in her eyes triggered another memory.
“I-Its you.” Sausage connected.
Her smirk softened, “There it is. Come,” Niserra walked past him. “We should go back there, the council will be wondering what we are discussing.”
“Wait,” Sausage started. “What about what he, what I did, back on Crystlos.” He eyed Niserra for some form of mercy.
“Oh that?” She looked over her shoulder back to him. “You're fine, I’ll talk to the council and tell them you’re cleared.” “What? Just like that? But I killed hundreds!” His voice broke on those last words.
Niserra fully turned to face Sausage, a smile fading once she saw his hurt expression. She turned her head, thinking. Then relieving to Sausage, she said. “Don’t worry, you- sorry, us Jedi need to be reminded that we do make mistakes, but you gotta cut yourself some slack.” Niserra tapped her runes again and the same rift opened back into her office. She gestured for him to go through, then she followed. “This won’t be the last time we see each other, and I may need you for a project later on.”
Niserra tapped on her runes again and this time, took Sausage’s hand. The runes spun quicker than before, she then released her grip on his hand. “There, you have access to my office whenever I call for you.”
Sausage still couldn’t fully wrap his head around any of this. But he had one more question.
“What is an Overseer, what you are? The members of the council called you that.”
Niserra physically tensed up. Sausage drew back from his inquiry.
“Sorry, I didn’t know that was-”
“No it's okay,” Niserra said, slightly quieter than usual. “Maybe I will tell you another time. But until then, this meeting is adjourned.”
He nodded. “Thank you, Overseer Niserra.”
Sausage walked to the door, but turned again to Niserra, who just looked to the floor, thoughtfully. He left the office, seeming to know more, but still having many questions unanswered.
Niserra's POV:
Niserra exhaled as soon as Sausage exited her office, a feeling of guilt creeping in. She did plan this meeting, why did she feel sick about it? Is it just because she’d referred to him as ‘her project’? She did this many times, why was this time different?
Is it because she feels more connected to him?
Niserra shook from the thought. “Ugh, I can’t seriously be falling for him! It won’t work. I didn’t tell him everything, and if- when he finds out, he would never understand.” She sighed as she sat on one of the couches to try to relax.
I can’t feel any attachments for him, not just as a Jedi. No, not after everything I’ve done to him. And even after I lied to him. I didn’t even do what Luca suggested, so that shows my repertoire.
She ran her hand down her face, groaning from exhaustion. Picking herself up, she reached for a tablet to write down her next plan. The meeting is done, now to come up with ideas to meet with him again.
Sorry for the long wait, I wanted time after finishing AFA, but not that long. I promise, I'm getting back into the swing of things!
God bless!
Overseer AU | Final Warnings
“It’s not my fault, Okay!” Parker’s voice was the usual insufferable whine as Quaritch topped up his own glass with water as the man continued over the screen to his superior about the sudden loss of the department head of the Avatar Program given the death of Dr Rene Harper a month ago which Dr Augustine had inherited as the next best candidate
Quaritch wasn’t against the program as a whole; the notion of humans living in alien bodies creeped him out a little but he hadn’t seem much use but gas bagging to the natives. Grace was annoying as fuck but… there were far more results gained made her more bearable. Unlike Selfridge, he could be patient….mostly. In two years’ time, they’d get Sully on Pandora; an ex-marine that presented a good opportunity to get to the blue monkeys to move with less bloodshed as possible quicker than Augustine had in the last thirty.
He could wait two more years.
Sully probably was their next best option given Augustine was… well otherwise dead to the service for the next foreseeable future. The lack of Augustine mostly would seed a gap between the RDA and the natives that he’d need Sully to finish soon enough as well. He could assume the school mess, not just the death of the Avatar certainly didn’t help; not that he overly cared what the natives thought.
It just made things harder.
* Another preview of that biiiiig drawing i’m doing ^^ It’s been two days i’m on it.. xD But i really wantes to make it for countlesstale! ^^ I hope you will like it ( when i’ll finally finish it xD )

Prologue:
"Yoohoo! Wake up!"
Your eyelids twitched at the voice, the first thing that pierced the soft blanket of silence and darkness. Your other senses come to life; you feel the ground beneath you, the wind's cool breeze, and the open area…You opened your eyes and saw yourself face to face with a sugar gnome.
You awoke in the ruins of what would be your kingdom, sugar gnomes surrounding you from your place of rest. Upon awaking, the sugar gnomes surrounded you, curious of you. You didn't need a scholar to guess where you were, with the dessert themed setting and the recognizable sugar gnomes, you were in Cookie Run Kingdom.
You had raised yourself to seated up to get a better view of things, looking around. Ruins of a kingdom, a kingdom you recognized would be the player's…
"I'm in…a game?" you said as something holographic appeared before you, the same UI design and the game settings, Cookie Run Kingdom's title on the very top.
Your first mission was to meet Gingerbrave and the others, which was easier when Strawberry and Wizard cookie entered the area. You greeted them, introducing yourself using the name the game…er world has given you…Overseer Cookie.
"Why, you must be a very special cookie, for two large hands has sculpted you from the very dough of Earthbread itself and baked you in the Oven's fire!" The sugar gnomes had praised when you asked how were you made.
You wonder if God the Father had created your body instead of the Wizards and Witches in this world, because if that's the case then you were created by the God of Creation.
Anyway, you got yourself acquainted with the two before two sugar gnomes came in hauling an unconscious Gingerbrave.
You had given them star jellies when Gingerbrave woke up, feeling bad for what they've been through.
The rest of the story progressed, with you mostly interacting, assigning, and rebuilding the castle. The Gacha system was also there, but instead of the oven for Chili Pepper, it was a beam of light that summoned her.
"Huh!? Hey!? Who are you!?" "Nice to meet you, Chili Pepper Cookie."
She tried to steal your coins; however, the game system had given you a dimensional pocket where you can store your items and the rest of your inventory. To the cokies, however, it seemed like you pulled them out of thin air, and the renovations was like magic.
The first meeting with Black Licorice, the Cat dessert creature, and Scharw…something something happened and the crown chase began.
"Gingergbrave, Strawberry, Wizard, you don't have to get the crown. A ruler is not always with one."
"But Overseer Cookie, how will anyone know that you're the one ruling the kingdom!?"
"…Huh?"
Automatically, for some reason, a majority of the cookies and dessert citizens had decided that you're the ruler of the kingdom, making you name it.
"..Guess I'll have my old kingdom from the game. (Your Kingdom name)
And so, despite you trying to stop Gingerbrave and his friends, the four ran off to chase the crown-wearing cakehound, prompting the story to action. Though you had made sure that the three children had an item that could summon you when they're in trouble. You're not that irresponsible of an adult.
