i shouldn't be on the overwatch forums but it's wack how around both tracer and soldier's gay reveals people brought up stereotypes in completely opposite contexts

they complained tracer being a lesbian was harmful 'cause she was too "stereotypically gay", and soldier was unrealistic bc he "doesn't seem gay at all"

obviously they just want them to not be gay, but it's a good reminder that any time straight people say "stereotype" about gay people some nonsense is about to come out of their mouth
