This month's prompt announcement is Fairy Tale.

First off, thank you for your interest!

Ogerpon's Writing Den is a Kieran-focused writing server that will be posting monthly prompts like the one above. While the majority of the server are Kieran fans, we have a small community of pokemon fan fiction writers of all stripes.

The rules are as followed:

MUST include the prompt subject and be pokemon related.

MUST be tagged properly

ANY creative medium is allowed

Graphic depictions of gore, sexual assault, and other controversial topics are not allowed. If you're unsure if something would be controversial, send a message here for a second opinion.

Submissions can be presented several ways:

You can tag your work #owdoct2025 on tumblr

You can add your work to the collection on Ao3 "OWDOct2025FairyTalePrompt"

I’ve loved writing both parts for this AU and really enjoyed a chance to feature my oc parents for Juliana as part of it! 🥰

Huge thanks to everyone in the Ogerpon’s Writing Den discord for the idea and for cheering me on! It’s taken a bit to finish but fallen in love with the fairy tale I’ve been inspired by! 💖

I’ve written a Dipplinshipping oneshot for the Ogerpon Writing Server’s Fairy Tale prompt for October (This was my prompt btw lol).

OWD October 2025 Submissions Masterpost

Thank you to everyone who participated! Details and submissions under the cut

Apologies for the late acknowledgement and thank you everyone for participating in our October event! November and December’s events will be a little different due to the ZA release and the oncoming holiday season. November’s event will run from the 16th-30th. For December, we are considering doing a secret santa type event, depending on interest and participation.

Some event related stats I want to mention- we had 11 fic submissions, up from 9 last time. The combined wc was 155,812 up from 64,739 (as of 10/20/25). First submission was @bakacrazy-blog on 10/04/25. Longest fic at event close was @demikempton, though honorable mention to @tea-cakie for overtaking them on her most recent update. Our last submission (shout out to my procrastinators) was @kieranneedsahug four minutes before the deadline (!!!). Lastly, shoutout to @shadowstep for winning the prompt selection twice in a row! ….now we definitely can't let him win a third time

The young noblewoman and young gentleman both wish things could be different. That it would be easier if they weren’t what they were.

How will the strings that have ensnared them pull them together when it seems the world is against them.

What forces are acting to ensure destiny takes course.
