Cain has purchased a fishing boat from the Leuda Explorer’s Guild (10,000G) and a Mystic Rod (32,000G) from Steel Edge’s Blacksmith. The round trip ticket to Leuda to purchase these items was 2,000G.

Off to the Races || Owen & Blue

As promised, Blue arrived at Altelia Race Track the following afternoon. There was still lingering doubt in the back of his mind that the phone call was one huge prank. Still, on the off chance it wasn’t a huge prank on him, Blue made sure to be on time and cleanly showered after all the morning chores at the ranch. He even wore his best plaid flannel shirt. 

Blue had written down the directions to Mr. Fitzpatrick’s office after their phone call. Thankfully he was able to find it with little to no trouble. He’d asked one passerby for directions and before he knew it Blue stood before a door with the man’s name on it. The door stood open and Blue could see a man with red hair sitting at a desk. 

Clearing his throat Blue raised his fist and knocked on the door politely. “I’m Blue. I’m here to talk to a Mr. Fitzpatrick about a job?” The thought of this being a huge prank ran across his mind once more before he dismissed such thoughts. It was time to be professional.

A hot shower after a day at the ranch was exactly what the doctor ordered. He could only imagine how bad he smelt coming home form the place. It would explain all the stared and scrunched noses he got while walking by people on the street. Blue made a mental not to save up enough money to install a shower at the ranch house whenever enough money was saved. It’d be best not to scare away potential customers after all. 

After spending more time in the shower than he’d admit, Blue stepped out. Grabbing a towel he rubbed it against his hair for a couple moments before securing it around his waist. Not being a shy guy, he stepped out of the bathroom and walked back to his room. It was only a few steps away and Vaughn wasn’t home. At least that he was aware of. 

As Blue started to search for something to wear he heard his phone buzzing on the dresser. Looking at the screen he didn’t recognize the number. That could only mean one of two things: a debt collector or a customer. Sighing, Blue answered the phone, hoping for the best. 

“This is Blue of Blue Sky Ranch. How can I help you?”
