Taking a stroll isn’t without pain yet, but things are looking up and this will help us assess some other spine issues. Owens Lake, CA | May 15, 2017 A carcass lies rotting in a vast dry swath of land in Owens Lake. Once a large lake bed, the Owens River was redirected to feed the Los Angeles Aqueduct in 1913, and the lake completely dried up by 1926.
