I'm having trouble finishing this drawing. I understand that I need to do chiaroscuro exercises, but sometimes I don't have much time, and I really wanted to finish the drawing. because I don't have the strength to keep him for so long...Well, I like his eyes, though.

Yeah, I'm experimenting with style again.

Today's Beast is my second Owl King, this time based on a melanistic Barn Owl. His crown and royal decor all have glowing bits, and his dark feathers sparkle. Regal!

Is it weird that my brief obsession with Balan Wonderworld has led me to... Owl King? He’s serving up all kinds of Thundercats (or even just “Cats” the musical) and Yu-Gi-Oh vibes, but hey, I don’t design the animals, nature does. All I know is that the Swan Prince had a dad who was the Owl King and I never gave him any personality or backstory or sketches back then, and now... I’m kinda into him, and all that, and violin music.
