This is what I would say about starting a studyblr:

1) Choosing a username: I would recommend you to choose a username related to studying. That way, people can easily tell you’re a studyblr! I chose a username that was related to harry potter since I love it so much hehe (: It already seems you’ve chosen a nice, study related username so yay step 1 is done!2) Have a nice theme!This is obviously not a must but it is a nice thing to look at. I know there are many accounts on tumblr who make codes for desktop themes so you should definitely check them out and look for a theme you like(: If you want to know some good accounts for themes, feel free to send me a message.3) Post original contentTypically, when I look at other studyblrs, I look at their posts first! Posting a lot of original content shows your personal studying life and methods, which is really motivational for others to look at (:4) Easy NavigationI like to stalk a lot of studyblrs (whoops) and it’s so much easier for me when they have their original posts linked! For example, I have a mobile navigation page that people can click on to search for my original posts or other links that direct to other posts I find motivating. If you would like to know how to do this, you can message me & I’ll love to help you out!5) Join studyblr networks/communities!For example, there is a small studyblr network for those who have under 1,000 followers so that everyone within that group could motivate one another! Joining a network (especially one that relates to your interests) can help you become even more motivated.6) Use tags!Many studyblrs have tags that they track. Those studyblrs reblog posts from that tag they track.(-:6) Last but not least, don’t care about your follower count/reblogs/likes.When you first start a studyblr, you might get discouraged at the lack of notes you are receiving. DO NOT let this make you believe that you are lesser or not as “good” as the other popular studyblrs out there. Being motivated and posting content you love is a first when joining this community. Let studying be a priority, not the amount of love you receive from a post!
