Scraping by at the last minute but this @ocmonthly 's theme is short hair ! i don't have all that many ocs with short hair (because long hair is so much fun to draw), but I do have this little fella here, Owlen. Skittish, anxious, and a bit cowardly (until you push him to far), Owlen can be be a bit of a handful. He got slightly better after meeting his best friend (pictured here with the pink shirt), Trèfle, who wa very clear about what kind of shit she was willing to put up with or not.

The two care for each other very much, even though they're both too emotionally constipated to say it openly. They still have a lot to learn, like taking better care of themselves, or not working for people who will fuck them over :D

Also ! They star in this little game I made which is available in English wink wink ;)

Wanted to draw some character interactions ! Trèfle and Owlen, one of my fave pair ! (and they're the protags of my one game that's translated in english wink wink :3)

I’m trying Inktober this year ! No list, but I’ll take the opportunity to celebrate platonic/non-romantic relationships among my characters /o/

Also no pressure.

But yeah, let’s start with Owlen and Trèfle ! They started mostly as work associate, but as time went on they grew closer. They have a gentle, rather low-key relationship, they’re discreetly taking care and supporting the other however they can. They’re both pretty secret, closed-off people, albeit in different ways, and they aren’t big on big gestures of affection. They prefer little everyday things.

I made a turnaround ! It’s still pretty wobbly tbh, but it’s a good start, considering I haven’t done that in years /o/
