Given that twitch is banning trans women for no reason it might be helpful to know you can self host some FOSS pretty close to twitch on a ~$5/month VPS. That would be Owncast.
Owncast is your self-hosted live streaming solution.
Owncast works with OBS out of the box. I've tested it and while there's a bit of config to get chat working that I need to test it was able to handle a fairly daunting stream that was rough on the bitrate.
i almost have the code for this stream points system done! I figure on Monday it'll be ready to test, and for an hour or so I'll stream the testing to make sure everything works before Wednesday's stream, where we'll hopefully be ready to use the stream points without any hiccups. Exciting!

Use an external storage provider to distribute your Owncast video stream.
Working with Owncast for my wife's (@potionradicalpirateradio) streaming setup and found something particularly interesting with regards to handling bandwidth
"Instead of serving video directly from your personal server you can use a S3 compatible storage provider to offload the bandwidth and storage requirements elsewhere."
Im going to test this with b2/backblaze and see how it does
