I’m certain it will come as a surprise to no one that I will be closing this roleplay. I not only don’t have much time for it -- I also don’t have the muse for this plot. It’s almost two years old now and I feel like it’s going no where. I want to thank any and everyone who helped with this roleplay, and everyone who has loved and cared for their character. They mean so much to me and I encourage you to continue their stories. No, I don’t want anyone else taking over the roleplay in my place. I am always open to keeping in touch with everyone, so feel free to message the main for my AIM or Skype. Thank you so much.

Our event is officially over! Please feel free to finish up all your threads. The students don’t have classes this week while the school is under construction. Instead, they’re staying at the local motel other than the few injured students, some of which are staying at the hospital.  All roommates will stay the same. Please write a short paragraph of what your character did during the event and submit it to the main by Friday. If you have any questions, message the main.

I haven’t been able to handle this roleplay well on my own for a couple of weeks and because of that I have brought on a co-admin; I want everyone to welcome Angel! She plays Blake Carr and is one of the greatest people I know. From here on out, she’s going to be helping us all out so everyone give her a great welcome to the admin team!

The event has officially begun. The sooner you post what your character's major will be, the sooner I'll be able to send you a message with where the school will assign your character for the week. All starters from here on out should be tagged with oyoevent1 and your characters location. That's just the starters, though. Please complete the task so I can send you a message like the one below & you can move along with the event!

MEMBERS.

We've been struggling with trying to figure out what to do with the roleplay; there's been a lot of pressure put on us lately and we're not exactly sure what to do with it, being human and all.

We've discussed shutting everything down, but as that is something we definitely do not want to do, we're going to settle for shutting down the main for a little while. 

We'll still be open to questions, concerns, we'll still post activity checks and when we get auditions, we will take them and do acceptances, but we refuse to stress ourselves over this. It's unhealthy to obsess over a job online that's supposed to be fun (not to mention, volunteered), and so, as admins, we're going to take a step back and be roleplayers for a bit. 

Nothing will change other than us not being on the main account as much. We'll still advertise and try to get the message out there, but we don't want to rile ourselves up and make ourselves hate the roleplay. 

In saying all of this, we're still going to be making some changes in the upcoming future and really would appreciate your input.

ps the ban has been lifted, students may now go off campus and into to town -- within reason, remember that these are still high school students and if they get up to trouble, they will be punished.
