I mean Ozai should've probably been married by the time he was 27. I always felt Michi was who he was supposed to be with but they had issues with their kids surviving and Ozai was giving Azulon side eyes after the tenth time after Azulon asked for another try so Azulon had to do a switch up since his original plans weren't working. Ursa was more or less a desperate last attempt to get something out of Ozai imo.
hey. so i am actually very sorry for not replying for a long time.the inbox was not working for some reason.
and i kinda agree. i like to say ozaichi happened before urzai. maybe his relationship wth michi was something like depressed teenagers while with ursa it was of mutual respect (until it finally broke after the war.)
in my version ozai tells michi his father has introduced him to ursa. she is a bit skeptical. but accepts . she does get upset when ozai tells his courtship with her is over and he is engaged to ursa.on azulon's orders.
(even though ursa and ozai never wanted marraige but their parents still enforced it . rina in an way ursa understood azulon on the other hand threatned him. )
that was enough for michi to remain a bit angry at him . for sometime.
but they overcome it because years later michi is okay zuko and mai's relationship . ozai has slipped into you know more into an awful person. he dosen't care about zuzu with mai.
they still end up as terrible parents to their kids.
i will tell u more on them.
