Last Good Day | Randie | Oct ‘77

She had made her decisions. She knew what she had to do, and already was setting those things in motion. Today, though, her preparations could wait. She needed to see Regulus. Regulus deserved more from her than almost anyone else.
As she walked through the halls of Grimmauld Place, her fingers traced over the walls, voice greeting their ancestors, and as she passed by the room -you know the one, the room with the family tree- she paused, taking a long moment to trace over the lines between herself, her sisters, and her cousins, and then over the burnt out spots where certain people used to be. She would be one of those burnt spots soon, and she frowned as she left the room, making her way up the stairs to Regulus’ room.
She didn’t bother to knock today, letting herself in and praying -an afterthought, really- that he was clothed.
“Reggieeeeee,” she crooned, stepping through his doorway. “I’ve come to steal you away for the day. Are you interested?”
