Well, it had to happen sometime. The redhead thought this to herself as she stepped out into the nearly fucking thigh deep snow, having to clamor through it to get out of her bunker. The shit storm finally ended. Well, technically. The sky was clearing and the stray beams of sunlight made the literal fucking tundra of snow almost impossible to look at with how bright it was. Cassidy was.. in no fucking mood for any of it. Struggling for a solid ten goddamned minutes to get out of her bunker, her lungs were already burning with the exertion and the cold goddamned air. And she'd only been out for twenty minutes, tops.. and had a whole fucking day of scavenging ahead of her.
Though she couldn't use her car, at least not until she got it fixed from the way she'd fucking wrecked it, she still had a tendency of storing things in it's trunk, and though it took her longer these days to walk the five miles to get to where she'd parked it, that was exactly where she was headed.
She'd expected a few zombies when she got there, maybe a raider or two.. but what she hadn't expected was the familiar shock of flaming red hair of the back of her brother's head as she approached the car. "...Shit." She hissed, pausing in mid stride as she slowed to a stop. Cassidy hadn't seen Austin since their ugly, volatile fight where they met. Where he said she wasn't his sister, and she said he was exactly like their father and they'd parted ways.. and here he was. Not only in her territory, but staring at the abso-fucking-lutely wrecked car she'd stolen from him and dad in the first goddamned place. Slowly taking a step forward, tense and wary, Cassidy spoke up. "In case you're wondering, you can't have it back... I don't care how wrecked it is." She stated, Cassidy always looked a little roughed up. Wild hair, dark circles under her eyes. But now, even with heavy clothes covering most of the wounds on her legs, chest and ribs, her fact was still cut up, a bit bruised from the impact. Upsettingly reminiscent to the worst nights she'd had under the temper of their father.
