olivier award for best actress in a supporting role in a musical goes to cassidy janson
Jack sat on one of the benches in the park, trying to fix his hair. One of his patients today had been a young girl, she hadn’t been severely hurt, just shook up from having her first asthma attack. She had been chewing gum, so Jack had asked her to take it out and throw it in the garbage can next to them. Apparently the little girl thought that meant chuck it much higher than it needed to be, and now Jack had gum in his hair. He would rather not end up with a large bald spot, or attempt to use the peanut butter trick that he wasn’t even sure if it worked. He sighed and looked around, spotting someone close enough that he didn’t have to get up. “Hey, weird question, you wouldn’t happen to know how to get gum out of one’s hair without just cutting it out do you?”

Oblivion | Cassidy & Dionysus
Initially he wasn’t so sure, part of him wanted to wait until he had gotten better that he wouldn’t be calling ze to kneel at his sickbed. But days slogged by and the outlook wasn’t getting better, his energy levels hadn’t surfaced from their drastic plummet and the pain had neither worsened or gotten better. He was simply existing in a permanent state of sickness. Which, was starting to ebb away at his mind. A faint worry that perhaps this time he wouldn’t scrape through this.
So he got someone to send a message out for him, a task that was considerably harder than he’d first thought. His sister scoffed and dismissed him, said that it would be best not to include anyone else in-case he passed on the initial infection, he couldn’t very well send ze a message himself. Still couldn’t sit up for any great length of time let alone jack into the net in any shape or form. In the end he managed it, although he’d had to explain quite carefully to John how to get the message to ze.
Wasn’t as straightforward as sending a text, but he knew that. They had sometimes talked briefly via his handle in the gaps between their old training meet-ups.
He was propped up; the mask was still necessary but he could go short bouts of time without it before it grew too difficult. The ripperdoc that’d come to see him had confirmed what he already knew, the infection had been complicated by an inflammation, initially in his left lung, which explained why the pain seemed more local on that side. Only now he was sure the other side had worsened as well, the pain more evenly spread.
It wasn’t going to be a goodbye. He damn well didn’t want to leave like this. A weak and wasted fragile thing. The glory and power of netrunning seemed like a far away dream that he couldn’t even grasp at. It was, instead, an opportunity to say what he’d left unsaid for a terribly long time, it likely wouldn’t come to that. Dion still got nervous at the thought of explaining what he scarcely understood himself, fear of rejection far too high to simply out-right say. But he wanted Cassie to know that he cared.
The door clicked open, still wasn’t locked, just in case one of the neighbours came to check in on him as they so often did. “Cass?”
Home || Fletcher & Cassidy
Another day. Another disappointment. It was never going to change. When someone has lived for over two thousand years there's little that one can do. Sure, people change and seasons and cities change, but the core never does, and for Fletcher it was one thing he was adamant on never doing. No matter how much better life could be if he did. He was a creature of habit, a wolf set in his ways, the only thing that would change like the direction of the wind was his anger. At a drop of a button it'd switch and he'd explode, and the only one who really knew why was his sister Cassidy, she understood him. His motives, his thoughts, his desires; he never had to explain himself.
So when he found her in his bed it was natural for him to be concerned. He knew immediately that something was wrong because it was his bed she always went to when she was sad or hurt, it was him who comforted her with a softness that only she knew existed. And like many times before, Fletcher immediately assumed that this bout of sadness was caused by another.
"Cass?" he sat down on the edge of his bed and found himself glaring, someone would pay for this. "Who am I killing?"
Sweater Weather ➩ Isaac & Cassidy
The drive to Los Angeles was quick and painless until they reached the pacific coast highway. After sitting in traffic for nearly an hour, they finally made way to their destination for the weekend. The Four Seasons was home to celebrities and socialites but to Isaac it was just the nicest place to say in the city. Sure, there were cheaper and more resourceful places he could have spent his money on for their weekend getaway but fuck it, right? Cassidy had never been to Los Angeles and as usual, just like the Maldives, he wanted her to live in luxury. It was a stigma that came with being a Chambers and as much as he hated it, fighting it was pointless.
Having the valet bring their belongings up to their Royal Suite while he finished checking in. Once upstairs and in the suite Isaac immediately took to the balcony to check out the view of Beverly Hills and Bel-Air that they were accessed too. "I could get used to living here, I've always loved California. I'm really surprised in my own decision that I didn't choose to go to UCLA." The boy spoke out loud, assuming that she was listening to his rambles. "Is there anything else you need, Mr. Chambers?" the valet asked Isaac as he walked to the door way of the balcony. "No man, I'm good. If we need anything we'll give the desk a call. Thanks for the trouble." Slipping the boy who couldn't be but a year younger than himself a one hundred dollar bill, he smiled and sent him on his way. "Sometimes, I pretend I'm Scott Disick when I handle cash. But that's our secret," Isaac said to Cassidy with a playful wink.
An Unfamiliar Scent || Oliver & Cassidy
There was an unfamiliar scent covering the air. One that Oliver had never encountered before. Shaking his coat, he let out a howl. It was getting close to a full moon, which meant that it wouldn't be long before him and his pack had the drive to kill anything and everything. This was no time for wandering Omega's to end up in his territory. As he was very temperamental and territorial. The scent was getting stronger and stronger by the second. Positioning himself behind a large oak tree, he watched as a blonde woman made her way down the trail through Muir Woods. He was unsure of her intentions and her heart beat fell steady. Almost as if she was looking for something out there. Stepping out from behind a tree, the alpha took on his human form and loudly cleared his throat. " You lookin' for something out her miss? " The alpha asked, not hesitating to cover up his, out in the open, wolf junk.
