The single most important part of a wedding was to pick out the cake.

The vows were a neat addition too. The rings, sure. The knowledge that you were bonded to another person for the rest of your life - that was fun. But the cake..The cake was the one thing Ian had been looking forward to most while helping Lucy plan the wedding. He couldn’t care less about fabric swatches and flower arrangements or even the arrangement of chairs, and Lucy knew that which was why she only asked him for last minute opinions. He was content to let her and her mother and sister do the majority of the decision making as long as it was him and Lucy who got to pick out the cake.

They had an appointment at Top Tier Treats in thirty minutes and Ian was practically buzzing. “We cannot be late,” he moaned in warning to Lucy as he hurried into the bedroom. “We need to get these cake samples while they’re fresh! Move it or lose it, Goose!” He then paused. “I love you. Hurry up.” @halethegoose

jiwon couldn’t believe she was actually leaving the country. after months of being suffocated by the company, she had finally decided to leave and pursue an alternate path. she had studied hard on her english and made youtube videos in her free time, and now, she was finally leaving for the united states. it was like a dream that she never expected to happen. it was strange how everything played out, but in all honesty, she had no regrets. she was excited about the new life ahead of her, though she was a tad worried seeing as she had very few, if any, connections there.

she wasn’t taking much with her, so the easiest way to get to the airport (and least conspicuous for daeeun’s sake) was by taxi. she didn’t say much, unsure of what to say if she were to be honest. it was unlike her to be so quiet beside him, but perhaps part of it was because she was nervous about leaving him. the other part was simply sad that he wouldn’t be going with her. “i can’t believe i’m leaving,” she finally noted as the cab pulled into the loading zone.

Cheap Thrills || Emvan

Emma had had an amazing day. She'd picked Evan up early that morning and they drove out to the desert together, blasting music and singing along to it, laughing despite the still lingering tension between them. It was Emma's fault anyway, she was still the one that couldn't seem to relax fully in his presence, unless she was asleep. She needed to work on that. They'd arrived and met up with all of their friends, Martin in particular beyond thrilled to see them. It was just like old times. The sun was shining, the music was playing, and they were with all of their friends, even if Evan said he didn't really feel like they were his friends anymore. They still went out of their way to include him in everything all day.

"I told you so," Emma had told him earlier in the day, a small smirk on her lips before she'd pressed them to his. To her own surprise, she'd only called her mom four times since they'd gotten there. She still had Ava on her mind, but she was trying to just relax and let it go. She was with her mom, she would be fine. Emma needed to enjoy the weekend. She was there with Evan, and all of their friends. She'd even managed to wrangle a tent for just herself and Evan. Everything was just as it should be.

The sun was setting, everyone getting ready to get their second wind before they went back out, and they were headed back to the campsite. Emma had her fingers laced in Evan's, leaning her head against his shoulder, a smile on her lips. She lifted her head, pressing a kiss to his arm as she walked, tilting her head up to look at him. "I'm glad you came." She said softly, squeezing his hand. They were trailing behind the group, but Emma didn't mind. She just liked being with Evan, not having to worry about getting up to check on Ava, or constantly having to have her eyes on her. "I couldn't imagine it without you."

Daniel smiled softly at some girls that had recognized them. He was at this favorite coffee shop and despite the dark sunglasses he was wearing, some people stopped by to say how amazing his videos were and even to take some selfies with him. He didn't mind at all, considering that he truly loved when fans talked to him and told him how his videos always made their day better. He was a famous Youtuber who liked to spend his days uploading random videos about what he did and other things like that. At first he was surprised when someone asked him if he was that kid from Youtube. He didn't want to sound cocky at all, but after a while his followers started to grow and so did the amount of people who wanted to take a picture with him. Of course, he was not famous like the One Direction guys, but he was very grateful for his fans and the amount of love he received from all of them. He smiled when he noticed that it was his time to order. That smile grew wider when he realized that it was her. The boy had developed some crush on the sweet barista. She was funny and incredibly pretty, and he always loved to talk with her about random things. With his wide smile, he looked at her and said, "Fancy seeing you here, Mickayla."

Lately, Paisley hadn't been herself for a while. Why? Her stepmother. She didn't just abuse her physically, but emotionally. Bitch, ugly, doesn't deserve anything, your fault for your father not being here were the words. The words that made her turn into her bitchy side for a bit. So, she decided to move into Mariah's until the abuse goes away, which would be quite awhile. Also, she had this feeling about Aiden lately. Something she couldn't explain. He was the only one she could currently talk to, about anything. So, they decided to cuddle while watching the VMA's, who wouldn't want to do this, right?

Paisley walked with her phone in hand, tweeting to him about their plans. She typed and typed, walking into the elevator, still glancing up from time to time to watch her surroundings. A minute later, she walked out of the elevator, putting her phone in her pocket, finding his room. Stepping in front of his door, she knocked lightly on the door, leaning on the door frame with her shoulder.

It had only been twenty four hours since Callie was introduced to her new living arrangements for the next half-year, and to say that she was less than thrilled would be an understatement. The only upside to the whole ordeal was that she wouldn't be alone and at least she had Robyn with her, despite the two not being on the best of terms at the moment due to her sister's constant desire to drink. Callie wasn't against drinking, she just knew that her sister had an issue with it and she was scared for her. Honestly, she didn't even understand why her sister did it considering that she was aware of their mother's history. Given, the Pierce girls had played a big part in the need for Mr. Vodka and Ms. Tequila but they weren't that bad. Well, Mia wasn't anyways, which is why Calista didn't object when the girl offered her help with the cooking of dinner for that evening. This would actually be a nice way to get to know the girl.

Walking down the corridor, Calista entered the kitchen, brown orbs scanning the counter at the brown paper bags that aligned it. Cooking had always been a favorite of hers - because she truly was a fatty - so there was no surprise that she bought nearly everything the girl's could need, food wise anyways. Unpacking everything, she put the ingredients she needed to the side and began to put everything else away into the cupboards as she awaited the arrival of the Pierce sister she had deemed as 'Blondie'. Hearing a few foot steps behind her, she halted her movements and slowly turned around to face the other girl. "Don't just stand there." The Latina cocked her head to the side, gesturing to the sink. "Wash up."
