This can't be good || Genevieve & William
Summer. A period of fruition, fulfillment, happiness, or beauty. At least that was the definition the dictionary provided. So there you have it, summer is supposed to be fun, to let you do whatever you wanted so you weren't left with any "what if's" or "I wish I would've's", a time to be surrounded by beauty. What surrounded Will that Sunday afternoon? The same things that had been surrounding him for the past 10 months, and if he was being honest, it wasn't pretty at all.
The sun burned in Will's skin making him wish to cover his bare arms but only a mad man would wear a coat, jacket, or even a long sleeved shirt today. Oddly enough, the pool staring back at Will yelling at him to get in before his skin is set on fire was empty. Not a soul could be seen from this spot in Disland and Will hadn't exactly decided whether he liked it or not. Sure the silence was... nice. It gave him time to think or whatever he'd heard people did when they locked themselves in an empty and quiet room. But who was he trying to fool? The heir to the throne for Apalusia was not one to embrace the quiet, he even despised it sometimes. The sound of a crowd cheering outside of the castle sounded much better
What was he even doing in there, standing all by himself? Not even he would've been able to answer the question. Right after his forced arrival he left his things in his room and walked, and walked, and kept walking until his eyes met the light blue of the pool. Hs'd thought several times now to forget he was not wearing a swimsuit and get in the water but the though of him swimming all by himself just looked pathetic even in his mind. He was about to give up at trying to find that thing that made silence so special for most people when he heard the footsteps. He waited a few more seconds for whoever had just arrived to say something, but if Will was anything, it wasn't patient. "I hope you didn't come here looking for a 'quiet' place to think or some shit like that" He said and turned to look at the Genevieve. His eyes could've widened as they probably had the first time he saw her when he was younger, and maybe it was the fact that he was engaged, or that he now had more control over his feeling/thoughts showing, but they didn't and he was extremely grateful for it. Instead he smiled at her "Because I'm tired of silence"
