Debriefing || Michael & Keaton
As much as she loved her mother, and knew in her heart she meant well, the pressure to not disrupt Keaton for she might break was starting to get on her nerves again. Diane couldn’t understand that Keaton was not going to break because they spoke loud or talked about war, she would break though if they treated her like a china doll and kept trying to put her in the cabinet away from others. When she wasn’t trying to pretend Keaton was a fragile piece of furniture she was trying to pretend that everything was alright, Keaton would be fine and she just needed her family to show her that and be normal around her. Tonight was one of those nights, and as she sat in the pizza parlor with her sister, her niece and nephews, for Caitlyn was up to three with another on the way, and her mother she envied her father for working late. She would even do a fucking press conference at this point to get away from this dinner. The boys were already fighting with a shove here and there and her niece was crying to get Caitlyn’s attention, but she was too busy talking about baby clothes and time off with Diane to notice. The noise was giving her a headache and worse the place was filling up with people which seemed to make her skin itch. After a particularly high pitched squeal, how the hell did Caitlyn tune that out, Keaton stood up and with a fake smile she went to the ladies room. By the time she got there she felt her hands shaking, and could almost hear her mother and sister discussing her. Splashing cold water on her face, she took a few deep breaths and was tempted to slip out the back exit she had seen on entering.
With a shake of her head she reached into her pocket and felt her dog tags, running her fingers over the smooth surface on one side and the bumps on the other. Sighing she opened the door to exit and almost walked into a man heading to the men’s room. “Sorry, I wasn’t looking. . .” Her breath caught in her throat, and she had to blink a few times, worried she was seeing things. “Mike?” She asked softly, her shaking hand up to her mouth, she didn’t know what to feel. Rumors said he had been hurt on his last mission and she had no idea he was in Long Beach. Wanting to reach out and hug him but not sure for either of them if she should she let out a soft laugh. “Hi stranger.”

✰ QUEENSNAPPING; franco & michael.
francoduh:
Franco couldn't believe everything that had happened in the past 24 hours. He'd been enjoying a week of luxury, hiding in a hotel room away from everyone and blowing all the money he'd saved from previous jobs, assuming in a weeks time he'd have ten times that amount to spend thanks to the trade he'd planned with a Manhattan dealer. He had put a lot of money into the drug deal, hoping to use his new supplies to secure higher connections to help keep him and his gang out of trouble. However, when he had driven to Manhattan, he was told someone had picked up his order. Apparently it was a boy who bared a strong resemblance to Franco, the other one of the loud idiots from Queens that everyone knew, Vincent. It didn't take long for Franco to realize who had stolen his resourced, Ty Jackson. Another member of the Queens gang.
He was planning to go head on with them, gang against gang, but as he stormed his way through The Bronx to his apartment building, he saw a much better opportunity. The Queens girl that his gang had labelled 'the dwarf' walking around his territory all alone. Instantly, he pulled out his phone, texting Michael 'Meet me by the subway. Bring the car. Now.' before turning and quietly crossing the road, beginning to follow the defenseless Queens girl in hopes that Michael would pull up beside them any minute now.
