A Whole New World || Open
There were bonuses to always being left to your own devices. One of them was being able to explore wherever you wanted, whenever you wanted. That was how Parthenia found herself wandering muggle London on an overcast Monday. Muggle watching was one of the seventeen year old’s favourite things to do as she’d never had much to do with them growing up. Muggles were a taboo subject in the Rosier home and Thee’s father would never acknowledge the girl long enough to answer any of her questions. Her grandparents weren’t any better. Her mother would look panicked, hush the girl and call Thee’s nursemaid to take the girl off her hands. The only companionship she ever had growing up had been her younger brother, when their father or grandparents weren’t around, and a small elf named Looki that had been given the job of Thee’s nursemaid.
Looki was busy with the other house elves preparing for a big party her parents were throwing that night, so Parthenia had been able to sneak out of the manor for a couple of hours. Not that she wanted to attend the party, but her parents would be most displeased. That was a headache she would rather like to avoid. Throwing a piece of bread to a duck, Pathenia sat and watched the world go by in a muggle park. Families ate picnics together, children ran about playing loudly. It was sweet but Thee couldn’t help but feel a little jealous. Noticing someone sit down beside her, Thee smiled sadly. “It’s sweet, huh?”
