"Oh hi, what brings you to my little corner of heaven?”
Every first Sunday of the month Hestia arranged a visit out of the castle to visit her grandmother, who was a close friend of the Headmistress’ since they both attended the school as young witches. Normally she’d wait until the holidays but after the death of her grandfather, there was little compassion the head of the school didn’t show. She was finally granted the deal, and so after Alchemy she skipped lunch and went straight to her room to get dressed, putting on her light blue robes and floo-ing to her grandmother’s manor.
It had been a melancholic visit, one that had left Hestia with a sinking feeling in her chest even after she’d come back, the sound of her grandmother’s shaky voice as she spoke about how she and Tobias met enough to break the heart of even the coldest non-believer of romance. She’d taken to the Astronomy Tower for some air when she heard someone call her name and she turned around, feeling a bit out of place in her formal attire in comparison to their uniform. “Hi.” she said.

“Ops sorry!”
“I’m sorry, would you mind passing me that book?” Andromeda asked, giving up on trying to stretch up to reach for the book high on the shelf. It didn’t even register with her to use magic.
It was Sunday morning when Hestia’s Alchemy professor decided to take them on a trip a little deeper into the Forbidden Forest in search of Fanged Geranium, certain that there was an opening with dozens of them if they looked hard enough. She was a bit surprised that even some students outside of the class had tagged along, but paid no mind to anyone really once they finally found the flowers. Beautiful, and of course, sharp, she was careful to walk around them and find a place she could conduct her in-class coursework and so she did, ignoring the several yelps of pain that came from some students who reached out to the plant when a voice spoke up in front of her, blocking her light.
"Tell us, Jones. Does Snivellus have fangs too? If he does how does he...Bloody hell, can’t imagine that’d be pleasant then, hm..” the Ravenclaw trailed off, looking at his entourage and snickering as if it was the most comical thing they could come up with “Didn’t take you for the kinky type, J!” laughed another idiot..
Looking up, Hestia was about to request they all kindly stick their faces inside the Geranium when someone spoke up for her.
“As much as I admire your genuine veracity for admitting that you have indeed, grown a backbone, I’d have to confess that that does not make any inch of you likeable in my eyes. So shoo.”
“Are you nearly done with that text? I’ve just about all as I’m going to get from my current tome.”
