Reunion | Tara & Elijah
Tara made her way down the streets of the French Quarter. She had some things to discuss with Marcel before she headed over to visit with Davina for the afternoon. Time had flown by so fast since she had arrived 8 months ago to find Davina about to be slaughtered in some deranged witches’ ceremony. Thankfully Marcel had been there in time to save her and, after she got over the initial shock of seeing him alive, the two had struck an alliance for the sake of Davina and her protection from the witches. Working with Marcel was a breeze for the most part and while she didn’t agree with some of the ways he enforced his rules in the Quarter, she made sure to keep biting her tongue when it came down to how things were run.
She walked into the compound and froze, still partially hidden in the shadows. Marcel was talking with someone, giving them the tour of the compound from what she could hear. She could see nothing of who the mystery guest was but she didn’t have to wait very long before she figured out who it was that was occupying Marcel’s attention. Running with that family for over a century she would recognize the voice of Klaus Mikaelson anywhere. She hid herself away in the shadows, keeping out of sight as the entourage including Marcel and Klaus continued through the courtyard. She slipped through the shadows, keeping silent until she could flash upstairs without being noticed by any of the vampires currently in the courtyard. Once upstairs she glanced down into the courtyard, keeping most of herself hidden from sight. She could see him clearly now: Klaus Mikaelson. Seeing him in the courtyard reminded her of the last time they had been there together, their last night in New Orleans in 1919.
Tara felt a rush of air and suddenly her door creaked opened. She hadn’t set foot in it this morning and she knew Marcel would’ve kept out of it, especially with this particular guest over. Marcel wrapped an arm around Klaus’ shoulders and they headed out, just like old times. Once the vampires had cleared out she headed into her room. No one was there and she didn’t feel a presence in the room except her own. She moved over to the window and watched Marcel and Klaus continue down the street. A small smirk slipped onto her lips.
