Reunion

She clasped her hands together, rubbing them against each other slightly and blowing some hot hair onto them as she was waiting outside, where they had promised to meet. With a beanie covering her ears and a scarf tugged up to her nose. Her feet tapped against the cold stones, waiting for the other female to arrive, and hopefully quickly. She couldn't help but let her eyes wander around, the little christmas lights that decorated the streets gave her this warm and cozy feeling, this year she really wanted to celebrate christmas a little more than the years before. 

How long had it been, since they had met? Being childhood friends they had spent  a lot of time together however the friendship had faded and they didn't get to see each other a lot anymore, and after years they nearly forgot about each other's existence as both were busy leading their lifes and the contact had just.. vanished. However they had ended up meeting each other on accident, had engaged in a conversation and soon decided to meet up one day and catch up properly, as despite they had lost contact, they were still fairly interested in knowing how they were doing. 

Minutes had passed as she stood there waiting, it wasn't that the other girl had been late, rather that she had been a little too excited to go out and had arrived at the place they were destined to meet a lot earlier. Her heels tapped against the floor along with a christmas song that had been stuck in her head for a long time. After a few more minutes, she actually showed up, exactly on time causing the older female to smile a little. 'Hey there~'

[ ♕ ]  Being in the wilderness was a little dangerous. She heard a couple of leaves being crumbled if not the sounds of god knows what messing around in the bushes of the branches. She wasn't one to hurt another, especially a creature she knows better. Despite her guard being up, the knife tucked away on her side she wouldn't really use it unless she needed to cut something open to eat - that's an exception. Or at least to Naeun herself.

The things I do for inspiration, she thought silently to herself. Eyeing the location she was in, not wanting to end up being too deep into the forest otherwise there was no way she would escape from it. Because getting lost at simple places was a trait of hers she couldn't change, ever.

A step closer, she heard it. The small pile of leaves crumbled and crushed underneath whoever's foot caused her to instinctively turn around, fingers brushing along the strands of her hair in attempt to push it back. A pair of eyes shifting from side to side to see who's around yet she sees nothing. Naeun knows better, never to let her guard down.

Because someone could snatch you up and aim for you as a new target.

"Who's there?" When the words were meant to sound rather threatening, her way of asking them to come out from where ever they were. It was chained with nothing but fear and the shaky breath slipping out didn't help the female so much either. Squinting to take a better view of the unknown figure from a distance, fingers brushing along her side in preparation to defend herself if necessary.
