barely, he said
Andy breathed slowly as she paused in the doorway, her hands deep in the pockets of her tracksuit pants that hung low around her flat hips. Her dark brown eyes burned as they trailed over the crisp sheets of the bed but the spark in them flickered more so as they rested on Cameron’s body. “Bet you never thought you’d have to be in a bedroom with me again, huh?” She asked smugly as she crossed to the bed. With each step the muscles in her stomach shifted, fully visible given the fact she was only wearing a sports bra on the top of her body. Her eyes never left Cameron once as she wound behind her and wrapped slender fingers around her hips, pulling her harshly back against her firm body. She could say so many things but words weren’t necessary as she nudged her nose against Cam’s jaw, the scent of her shampoo flooding her nose. “And who knew you wanted to fuck me this bad? This was your idea right? You invited me here...” She breathed as lips replaced her nose, open mouthed kisses marking Cam’s warm skin. “Or is it that...” She began as her fingers slipped up Cam’s stomach. Her nails were not long but they still dragged across the flesh, causing faint red lines. “You just need a good fucking, Graham?” Her smirk was so obvious against Cameron’s neck and she savoured the moment of having everything Cameron in her arms before she stepped back and shoved her forward on to the mattress, kneeling on the edge of it shortly after.
“But it’s my birthday so you have to do what I say!” Emma whined as she pulled her hand back and stared across the table at Andy with the best puppy dog eyes she could possibly manage. Andy wanted to admit that she was totally unharmed by puppy dog eyes but fuck did they make her weak. With a heavy sigh she took a long drink from her glass and rolled her dark eyes. When she’d made the long trip down to Nashville, more specifically Vanderbilt University, she certainly hadn’t expected to be roped in to so much so fast by her old friend. Then again this was a bar and Emma, plus her other teammates who were also at the table, were athletes just like her. She knew the kind of talk that went on among soccer girls but what was the worst was the dares. Drinking games and dares had been her downfall throughout the years but they’d also created some pretty good outcomes for her too. Except this one just seemed a bit more embarrassing because she didn’t really know anyone. She didn’t know how the students here would react to her Canadian soccer prowess. “Finish that drink, grow some balls and just go up to her. Then do what we said...exactly what we said.” Emma pressed and Andy rolled her eyes. She could not back down so with a confident expression she grabbed her drink and downed it in one. Loudly she set the empty glass on the table then slipped off her chair. Surely this girl, who’d had her back to them for a while, couldn’t be too bad. She looked cute at least...or her butt did. “Listen...” Andy began as she slipped in beside the stranger she’d been pointed toward, her normal ‘charming’ smile slipping across her lips. She always had the same expression when she approached pretty girls and the same aura. She was good at this, right? “I know this is fast but I’ve been doing so much thinking...so much...and I can’t get you out of my head. Each morning when I wake up...” She internally cringed as she recited Emma’s words aloud. She felt sorry for the woman. “Will you make me the happiest woman alive?” She breathed in deep and slowly moved down on to one knee. Her hand drew back and in to the pockets of her jeans. “And say yes to becoming my beautiful wife?” She was caught between laughing and wanting to groan in shame as she pulled out the condom from her pocket and held it up in the most romantic manner she could manage. “Think about the kids.”

Familiar Surroundings// Andy & Ada
It was a beautiful day out, even Ada had to admit. She normally stayed indoors as much as possible, but the sun was shining brightly in through the windows of the common room. When Ada walked over to the window, she noticed there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. With a sigh, she put her book away and found a light sweater, just because it was sunny didn’t mean it was warm. She had just been going to wander around the grounds, to get a feel for the school’s space, but she heard noises from the quidditch pitch.
Despite not loving the sport as much as her father did, Ada could appreciate the game. Even though she would choose a book over it most days, for some reason her interest was piqued. She made her way to the pitch and noticed it was one of the teams practicing. She sat in the bleachers, hoping no one would notice or yell at her. She wasn’t sure it was acceptable to watch people practice.
Soon, the practice was over and the team filtered off of the grass. Ada was just about to get up and leave when someone came up behind her. Turning quickly, Ada recognized Andy. “I didn’t mean to break any rules or anything,” she said quickly, hoping the girl wasn’t going to say anything about it. “It was just nice to see something familiar for once,” she admitted, turning back to the pitch. She’d practically grown up in one of these.
Seeing the Stars ll Tedromeda + Dora
It was one of the rare days that Ted and Andromeda had the same day off. Between his job at the college, and her job at the hospital, the two were hardly ever off at the same time. It was a lucky coincidence, that had to be taken advantage of. Ted had told her last night that he had a surprise for her and Dora. If there was one thing Ted loved, it was spending time with his girls. Being the astronomy professor came with a few perks, that he was all but willing to take advantage of.
“Nymphadora please, will you just pick out something to wear. I don’t care what it is, just pick something,” Ted sighed, exasperated. He loved his daughter, truly, but getting her ready in the morning was nothing short of a struggle. The five year old was very particular with what she wore, and even if they laid clothes out the night before, she hardly ever chose them in the morning.
“Fineeee,” Dora whined, “The lellow shorts and the blue shirt,” she decided. Ted nodded, before handing them down to her.
“Thank you,” he replied, relief in his voice.
Once Dora was clothed with her teeth brushed he brought her into the kitchen. He was taking Dora and Andy to the planetarium near the school. He knew astrology was very important to the Black family history, and it was one of his favourite things to study. He was certain Dora would fall in love with the stars, and he hoped Andy would enjoy it as well.
“Andy, my love, are you ready?” he asked, placing a kiss on her cheek. Dora had started putting her shoes on when, a task that would occupy her time for the moment.

Dark Blue ll Tedromeda
Ted was furious when Andromeda decided to join the Order of the Phoenix. At the time, he couldn’t wrap his head around why she thought the risks were worth it. They had a daughter, a daughter that very much needed her mother. He didn’t want to think about something happening to her. She already had a target painted on her back as it was; to join the Order was a death sentence. Ted had been stubborn about the whole situation, and had almost boxed her out for a day or two. Eventually he let it go, not pleased with the matter, but not fighting with her about it. Every once in a while he’d try bringing up again, but when it got heated, he backed off. He just couldn’t understand why she decided to join.
That made talking to her about this so much more difficult. He had been far from quiet in his opposition to her joining the Order. Now he understood it. He saw how the risks were worth it, and he understood why she wanted to fight back. The attack on Hogwarts had shook him greatly. His students were being attacked, students that weren’t old enough to defend themselves. Andromeda had a target on her back, and no matter where they were, she’d always have that target. His daughter, his wife, himself, they were all being targeted by Death Eaters. He thought hiding them would work, or staying neutral on the war would make it better, but those things didn’t matter to them. Ted was slowly realizing that the only way to ensure his families safety, was to fight for them.
He had just finished putting Dora down for her nap. Ted loved spending time with his daughter. Whether it was doing puzzles, coloring, or playing house, he could never turn her down. Putting her to bed or down for a nap was his favourite. He would read her a story, sing her a song, and then place her down gently to sleep. All he wanted, was for his daughter to grow up in a better world than this. Ted didn’t want Nymphadora to be held down because of her blood status, and he didn’t want to her be targeted by these monsters. He would join the Order for her, for his wife, and for the students that were attacked unprepared.
Ted made some tea, before going into the living room. Dromeda was home today, currently reading a book in her chair. Sucking up his pride he brought the tea in and sat some on the table beside her, before standing in front of her. “Meda, can we talk?” he asked softly. Ted took a deep breath before continuing, “I owe you an apology, you were right.”

Men At Work || Daniel x Andy
andy-jamerson
Daniel had left the front door unlocked after Felix and Anika had gone to bed, he remained in the kitchen whizzing around from one end to the other, grateful for the expansiveness of their grand home at times like this when the noise from the kitchen and surrounding areas were mostly isolated from those trying to catch a peaceful sleep elsewhere. Dressed rather stylishly- or not- in his ‘World’s Best Daddy” apron, one of many different kinds of aprons he had received for Father’s Day and other similar occasions, Del went about his business avidly; a man on a mission. Music playing softly from a nearby iPod dock complimented the atmosphere, creating a welcoming environment as exotic aromas encapsulated the area as they so often did in the Sinclair-Lamprecht household.
Dark Wings, Dark Words || Lily & Andromeda
The owlery was alive with the noise of low hoots, ruffling feathers, and the howl of October winds whipping through the windows. Lily was grateful for the cacophony — it drowned out the sobs wracking her body. She sank to the floor and drew her knees to her chest.
Ever since the attacks on muggles started, Lily had picked up a subscription to her hometown's newspaper. Her owl would deliver her a copy each night and Lily would pore over it, searching for any news of mysterious occurrences close to home.
Today's newspaper was still clutched between her fists. It was impossible to read through her tears, but Lily didn't need to read it again, really. She'd already committed the words to memory. A suspicious attack in Cokeworth — an entire family of muggles found dead under inexplicable circumstances, as if all their hearts had stopped all at once.
Cokeworth. Her home, where her mother and father and Tuney were probably drawn around the television right now, blind to the war raging around them.
