I've been thinking a lot and I finally decided to share some of my headcanons about how it would look like if Pace and Lena returned after all those years to Freemakers (happens in season 2):
Lena and Pace found Zander, Kordi, Rowan and Roger in Rebel Alliance. They were captured by the Empire, but managed to escape and after that they found the information that their children were with the rebels, they went right there,
Kordi and Zander as well as Pace and Lena would cry from joy during the reunite. Kordi would probably have the hardest time believing that they really returned, even asking Zander to punch her in case she was dreaming,
Rowan would be probably standing aside, not understanding what's going on and he would be even more confused after Pace and Lena hugged him too, since they both disappeared when he was still a baby. Pace and Lena would be a little devastated over him not remembering them, but they would definitely start working on bonding with him and getting to know him (as well as Kordi and Zander too in a way, since they changed a lot too),
There would be some negative emotions from the Freemaker siblings after their parents' return I imagine Kordi and Zander expressing to Lena and Pace how hurt they felt after being left like that. I feel like Zander would display his anger the most, asking things like "How could you just leave us like that?". Only after that, Lena and Pace would finally explain their situation which would make Kordi and Zander understand everything and forgive them.
Almost immediately, Pace and Zander would start yapping to each other about starships and podraces. Zander would definitely reveal that he won an actual podrace before. Pace would be extremely proud of him, but also a bit devastated that he didn't get to see his son's victory,
Lena and Kordi would talk a lot and Kordi would tell her stories from the workshop. She probably wouldn't be able to hide their hardships from her mom and Lena would be extremely concerned, especially when hearing about Kordi's struggles with mental health during that time. Kordi would try to reassure her that she's doing better now, but Lena would still share some relaxation techniques with her, especially regarding tension headaches. I like to think that Lena would like to play with her hair and it would relax Kordi a lot. Maybe thanks to that, Kordi would try a few new hairstyles too,
Surprisingly, Pace and Lena would be absolutely excited to hear Roger's autobiography and they let Roger read them the whole thing. They loved it,
Bonding with Rowan would be the hardest. Pace and Lena would have to start from the most basic stuff like asking him about his favourite color, or what he likes to do the most. And even though Rowan has a very friendly nature, he would feel kinda awkward around them, often not knowing how to act etc. He definitely wouldn't call them "mom" or "dad" for quite some time which would definitely make Lena a bit sad, but they would both be understanding and patient, reassuring him that it's not his fault (Rowan would blame himself a bit),
Lena would cry when Rowan calls her "mom" for the first time after their reunite,
Both Lena and Pace wouldn't be happy with the fact that Rowan wants to become a Jedi. After experiencing the Empire's imprisonment, they definitely wouldn't want Rowan to risk himself like that, especially since the Emperor already tries to capture him (they both almost got a heart attack after hearing about Naare and then M-OC). The whole situation would end up with an actual argument which would end up with Rowan refusing to talk to both Lena and Pace. It would be Kordi and Zander's task to convince their parents to let Rowan follow his path, claiming that they saw the amazing things he can do and telling them that Rowan is able to take care of himself. Pace and Lena would still be hesitant and extremely worried, but they would understand and apologize to Rowan, ending their argument. They would fully understand after seeing him fight with M-OC during one of the missions.
