(My guess is maybe she's impersonating him? Because why else is she wearing the gi that most resembles his Rogue outfit, instead of matching with the others?)

Either that or someone was teasing Jay for his hat and Nya decided she was going to wear it because she can rock literally anything, just to prove a point.

She heard the voice calling from a river, and followed it, because she didn't know better and it sounded like home.

Kai saw his sister, swimming like usual. But when he looked again, she was gone. A liquid shape that resembled Nya waved once and vanished.

Or, what if she didn’t, but only because Kai stopped her?

She was constantly trying to slip away and answer the call, and he had to always be watching her, grabbing her and hauling her away from the water before it could steal her.

And that was how Kai’s fear of the water started. Because it was constantly trying to steal his sister.

I don’t remember if the guys knew about Nya being the Master of Water yet, but…what if that’s why Kai’s hydrophobia when they’re entering the village of Stiix seems to suddenly come out of nowhere?

Normally, Kai isn’t that bothered by water, and even though he would prefer not to, will actually go swimming with the others (just not in the deep water). But now that he knows his little sister has a connection to water, is destined to control water, his childhood memories are resurfacing with a vengeance and making him ill at even the sight of large bodies of water

give me kai with wings that are hot with molten veins, spikes everywhere, and now has fire breath

give me jay with huge wings to quickly move, a sharp tail that he can shock people with

give me cole with a heavy hammer tail and no wings, just jumping building to building like some fucked up squirrel

give me zane with wings frosting over, giant claws and teeth for biting and scratching made out of ice shards, and slightly opalecent scales from the combination of organics, snow, and ice

give me nya with coral horns and droopy wings, her sea fusion markings glowing from the deep connection to her power

That feeling when there's a person you wanna be friends with, and you don't know them very well, and obviously you can't just go up to someone and say, hey, I'm lonely and you seem nice, wanna hang out and see if we have platonic chemistry, so instead you just approach them carefully every now and then in these spaces that you share, you wave in the hallways but you wonder if you're still being annoying, did they not wave back cause they were looking at their phone and didn't see me or because they don't like me, and it's okay if they don't, but I just wished I knew instead of just pursuing the idea of a friendship that might never go anywhere. And you text them from time to time but not too often, and there's always an excuse, and you hope they'll be the ones to say, hey, I'm going out with these friends after class, wanna join, cause that way you won't have to take the initiative and risk being rejected, but why are you even scared about that. It's fine. It's literally fine. Like, maybe they're not looking for this, and that's fine. Life literally goes on, it's fine. I just wish I could tell. I wished I knew whether you want me to ask you to have lunch with me or if we're both okay with eating alone. I can take it, I'd just like someone to text sometimes. It's the not knowing that I can't take. I don't wanna seem desperate. I wished I knew if you're okay with this. I wished I knew what people say when they don't say it. One thing to comment about is that Hazel is not using her gi. She's using uhhh,,, a spa robe (idk)

Yet another thing I love about Dragons Rising S4: Imperium

It would have been incredibly easy for the writers of Dragons Rising to just go 'yeah, after removing the tyrant, Imperium prospered with absolutely no problems', but they didn't. They went for a more realistic approach - starting a new government and infrastructure is difficult, and there will be people that prefer the old way due to less inconveniences. The guy might as well be saying 'at least Beatrix made the trains run on time'.

And this actually factors into the main plot of Season 4. The main villains of the season are people still loyal to Beatrix because even though she's an open and unapologetic tyrant, they still believe their lives were better while she was in charge - Dr. LaRow straight up says as much in Episode 10:

It's not the most complex political commentary in the world, but it's surprising that a LEGO cartoon of all things would be willing to have any political commentary beyond 'evil leaders are evil'.

It also ends up making Percival Tartigrade into one of the best characters in Dragons Rising, but that's besides the point.

I also love how you can actually see the changes to Imperium - the different lighting, the more colourful clothing, and even the increase in the diversity of the civilians (a direct result of Beatrix's anti-outsider propaganda being removed).
