ladybird’s brother, freddie, was very close to the king and pacer when they were kids. childhood is really fleeting in the wasteland, but i just know they had some good times together.
when ladybird gets into big trouble in reno and has to find work, freddie tells her to go back to vegas and hit up his old friend in freeside--though he warns her about pacer (if he’s still around)
ladybird coming home to vegas at her brother's suggestion kickstarts the events of new vegas! the rest, as they say, is history.
