I saw your Vampire Zenigata on your Cara, do you think you could post it on tumblr?
For you, my friend (I really need to get back to posting my art on here)
(And the pachislot game footage it's based on)
In case y’all have been wondering what I’ve been up to
Designs from the Slot Works Fan Book.
Annon-Guy: Ahem! Okay... Pachislot Games. What do you think of them? Personally, while they showcase cool and promising things, they also rob players and viewers things that should be on game consoles or DVD's/Blu-Ray Discs'. Here are six such examples:
==============================
Guilty Gear Vastedge is a canonical game in the series as despite being a pachislot game, it's story is shown in the recap for Xrd Sign and Revelator's manuals, even showing Sol's battle against Baldius. You most likely know more about this one than I do.
----------------------------------------------
Soul Calibur Pachislot is a spin-off of Soul Calibur V, focusing on Patroklos and Pyrrha. It may or may not be canon to to Soul Calibur V as shown through Pyrrha, she is more confident and cheerful, even to the point of standing up to and telling off Tira (HELL YEAH! Tell that b**ch off!). There's even a secion called Omega Mode where Pyrrha becomes Pyrrha Omega to fight Nightmare and his army off to protect Patroklos and when the section is cleared, she returns to normal as she checks on her brother, even her arm returns to normal too, implying she has control over her Malfeatation. Patroklos also fights against not just a returning Voldo and Tira, but he even gets to fight Astaroth and Cervantes, whom he never canonically fought!
----------------------------------------------
Chun-Li ni makase China (Leave it to Chun-Li from China) is a spin-off panchislot game focusing on the First Lady of Fighting herself as she meets up with friends and fights many foes such as Zangief, Cammy, Vega and the big man himself, M. Bison. People love a good spin-off game featuring their favorite character, so imagine the crushed looks when a game starring Chun-Li is stuck on a slot game.
----------------------------------------------
Cyborg 009: Rule of Sacrifice is a sequel to the CGI Movie Triology Call of Justice and it's manga adaptation. After the events of the movie/manga, the Cyborgs return to the battle once more to fight a new enemy related to their previous foe, the Blessed. Featuring more smoother animation and artstyle compared to the movies in a more action packed and lighter tone, the game looks like a lost movie, anime series or even an action video game! A missed opportunity! It also features a heroine mode featuring Francoise/003 in a stage performance meant to be a cutesy/fanservice mode...
----------------------------------------------
Aria The Scarlet got at least three Pachislot games. While it may not be so special at first, it turns scenes from the manga and light novel into fully voice anime scenes beyond the first three story arcs that got the 12 episode anime treatment (Butei Killer, Durandal and Vlad Tepes arcs are the anime adaptation). It's like watching lost episodes of what could have been for more episodes beyond what we got. We even see characters that only appeared in the Light Novel and Manga get an anime design and artsyle too!
----------------------------------------------
Ganbare Goemon Pachialot is a spin-off of the Goemon series. In this game, you can play three original scenarios featuring Goemon, Ebisumaru and even Princess Yuki. Supposedly, each mode has the character of each mode sing a song unique to them. It also got a sequel pachislot game.

Feel free to share your thoughts on this along with the six Pachislot games (had to do some research and thinking on this too).
Someone recently made a witty comment that God created the Universe in 7 days and that’s the reason number 7 is so lucky or that 3 slots of 7 is a jackpot, because of the Holy Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Gamblers by their nature are both religious and superstitious, and you can’t really blame them for being that way, given their dedication to the gamble and payout.
If 3 reels of 7 made ME rich and it was because of some divine power, I would probably be more religious too! 🤣
But reality is not so kind, nor are the people who set up such forms of consumerist entertainment.
Pachinko in and of itself is a spin-off concept of pinball, and honestly you had to be 21 or older to enter bars just to PLAY PINBALL, simply because of the similarities to pachinko.
That is the original history of Arcade parlors… long before pixels and scan lines were invented, people peeped in to wooden boxes to look at a photograph they had never SEEN BEFORE all BECAUSE it was NOVELTY!
The simple bumps and clicks and rolling sounds of steel metal balls were hypnotic and attracted people, to the point that even pachinko was an addiction… and that was LONG BEFORE the one armed bandits were invented!
Pachislot by its very nature is a Japanese FUSION of the two concepts: a Slot Machine and a Pachinko machine.
But, just as the desire to win money is an addiction, so too is the bright colors, music, sounds, and flashy animations on screen.
All to vacuum up every last dollar from your wallet!
But it isn’t just adult gambling parlors that created these machines, videogames as a medium created them too!
Gacha Rolls, Free to Play, Pay to Play, Mobile Service Games, Subscription Services that promise FREE GAMES to people so long as they keep paying the subscription fee.
Of course they aren’t ALL out to scam you out of your money so blatantly, some even go so far as to feature promotional events where you WIN A FREE CHARACTER to play with, power up and equip random items to!
You might color me cautious because of the nature of these games, but there is something to be said for the machines as a collector item. People really go out to make these cabs as colorful and as animated as possible to attract people to play them.
Using familiar anime characters from popular shows, anime, games, and more just sweetens the deal.
There’s even a Castlevania VR inspired House of the Dead rail attack shooter game that is based entirely on Pachislot! Konami really begging people to give them those hard earned Yen.
To be honest though, I take these games with a grain of caution. Just like arcade candy cabs from yesteryear that had SNK superbosses designed to eat every last Token or Quarter you put in, these machines still DO THAT, and the payouts are probably pretty rare if nonexistent.
1CC aficionados like to “1 credit clear” games like shooters and shmups after much practice, but at the end of the day they still BOUGHT the entire game to play in their home.
Buying a huge candy cab from an arcade parlor is even MORE EXPENSIVE, but some collectors still do it, because that’s their hobby!
I have friends who are collectors, and they see these machines and lick their lips. To them it’s not some game you would normally play in Japan, but these are machines you BUY AND COLLECT, for 500 plus dollars sometimes, especially for discontinued or decommissioned game machines.
But, I have to admit, if 3 reels of 7 lined up and made ME rich enough to buy an arcade cab, I might possibly consider it!
Edit: Shoutouts to the Music composers who remix Pachislot themes of various video games, they are underappreciated and need their own albums!
Since I haven't seen anybody else share em—here's the images you can get under conditions in the Inuyasha pachislot 2 with somewhat slightly better quality; including the last one with everyone perfectly paired.
