General Info: The apple of her parent's eyes (no pun intended), Pacific Rose is a very smart little filly who is obsessed with ocean life. She's the complete opposite of her mother Diamond when she was a filly, being very friendly and sweet towards others. This is largely due to the fact that her parents wanted to give her a much better upbringing than Diamond had, not wanting their daughter to be the stuck-up bully that Diamond was in her youth. Relationships: Pacific Rose adores her two mothers and gets along great with the rest of the Apple family. Her two best friends are Sweetie Belle and Truffle Shuffle's daughter Hazel and Onyx Shell, the ant-obsessed son of Silver Spoon and Snails. She also loves her grandpa Filthy Rich, even though there's one member of his family that both he and her mother Diamond both refuse to talk about. Cutie Mark: Pacific Rose's cutie mark is a dolphin balancing an apple on its snout, representing her talent of working with marine animals as well as showing her connection to the Apple family. She ends up working at an aquarium when she grows up.

The Pacific Rose

Pretty muted pink and yellow colors, fist-sized fruit. Retails at my grocery store for $1.99/lb.

Dry o o o o o o V o o o Juicy

Tart o o o o o o o o V o Sweet

Crisp o o V o o o o o o o Mealy

Crunchy o o o o o o o o V o Tender

Overall: 6/10

I think I’d rather bake with this apple, but I’ll probably try it again chilled. It was not objectionable but it didn’t stand out, either. Average and sweet.
