I like-not-love my Synapse, so I’m glad to see a review that’s at least a little critical of it (most reviewers treat it like it’s a sacred cow or something). It’s a backpack that never feels completely comfortable to me, with or without the kludgy framesheet installed, and I can’t figure out how to efficiently use the bottom pocket (I love it in theory, but in practice it’s a mostly empty catch-all for random things and sags under the weight of everything I carry in the pockets above it). I own a handful of Tom Bihn products, and I find most of them to be a mix of delight and frustration. More good than bad, for sure, but enough bad that I’m still searching for a better solution.

The Lush Shampoo Bar is a great bar of soap for travelers. The scent displayed in the video is called "Soak and Float"—a woodsy, clean smell—there are a bunch of other scents available though.

What's the best travel jacket? The Patagonia Nano Puff review—lightweight, warm, and compressible. Get it here: http://amzn.to/2lvNhIn Women's version: http://amzn.to/2lhQxnO
This nylon jacket from Patagonia is one of the lightest, smallest, and warmest we've been able to find. It compresses down very small, and easily keeps your loadout minimal while traveling.
