JULY 1ST - 4TH 2027 | CAMPING TRIP

pack up a weekend bag, hop in a truck, and let’s head to joshua tree national park! a brief two hour drive or so into the desert will be a great reprieve for the group - it might even make them miss the beach a little bit! with new friends and old all tagging along, there’s sure to be some drama, some secrets unveiled, and a good time to be had! oh - and it just might be that with no cell reception and less comfortability, true colors shine through a little more.

details regarding the trip are beneath the cut! this will be a week long event ( maybe longer ) as it covers four in-game days. as always with full events, all other threads should be paused during this time. the event will begin at 8PM CT on Friday, September 11th and run through midnight on Friday, September 18th. ( please note there is no discord event this time - though you may still use your discord dms to do threads, if desired )

THE EARTHQUAKE | RANDOMIZED PARAS 

MINI EVENT | 🚨 BREAKING NEWS! 🚨 | JUNE 25, 2027

Southern California was hit by its strongest earthquake in seven years on Friday, June 25, 2027 around 4:22pm. The epicenter of the 5.4 magnitude tremor was near the Huntington Beach, California, which is about 40 miles outside of Los Angeles.

Roads were cracked and broken and power lines fell to the ground after the earthquake, which also shattered glass and cracked the walls of some homes in the region. There was significant damage in the Chino Hills area, which lies east of the epicenter, local geophysicist Professor John Rundle said. Only minor injuries have been reported, no deaths or major medical emergencies. 

Light tremors continued to be felt on Saturday, as emergency crews fought fires and provided medical assistance to people. Los Angeles fire officials said there was no continued significant damage or immediate reports of additional threat.

JUNE 18TH, 2027 | BEACH BONFIRE 

a fire crackles on the beach, chairs circle the pit, a view of the ocean in the background. it’s not as warm tonight, the sun is just beginning to set. a cooler of drinks sits near the back of the semi circle, filled with beer, white claws, and ice. s’mores materials aplenty, sticks for roasting marshmallows, hot dogs, and veggie dogs are sat upon a folding table. soft beats of a haphazardly made playlist can be heard from the small speaker.

Our first event has officially begun! EVENT ONE | BEACH BONFIRE & FIREWORKS! 

Whether this first week or so of vacation with old friends has been a blast from the past or a really anxiety proving thing, summer is kicking off with a bang! In order to spend a little more time together, Austen and Beckett have decided to throw a little BEACH BONFIRE just outside of the beach house THIS FRIDAY! The city of Huntington Beach happens to be doing a fireworks show, so what better an opportunity to get out in the sand and hang out as a group? There will be hot dogs to roast, marshmallows to toast, and more booze than ever imaginable. ( did someone say jello shots?! ) The night will be a little cooler and the bonfire is sure to cause some sparks! Now that the whole gang is back together, be sure join in and get lit 🔥

TLDR: this event is mean to serve as an opportunity to infuse drama into the group, to bring people together, and to have FUN! please tag all posts with ‘pacthq.event1′  it will run from FRIDAY, AUG 14TH at 5PM CT through SUNDAY, AUG 16TH! during this timeframe, please refrain from replying to threads not relating to the event.  as always, make sure to plot with others, get some open / closed starters going & have fun!
