I have the absolute coolest fiance in the world who knows my love for Negima and got me numerous pieces of merch for the holidays. 

This particular piece is Negima Vol. 28′s Limited Edition.

The contents are encased in a thick box sporting a Konoka/Setsuna design. Volume 28 of the manga is inside and features the uncensored cover. Also included is a DVD of episode 2 of the Mahō Sensei Negima: Mō Hitotsu no Sekai/Magical Teacher Negima! ~Another World~ OAD series . (The DVD is in Japanese and is not subtitled. It is also a Region 2 DVD, so it may not work on your DVD player.) The last item is a special Negi Springfield pactio card. This was only released in Japan.

Pactio Card Guide

Lately, I’ve been making a guide that covers how to find all the pactio cards released for both Negima and UQ Holder series.

Now, tumblr’s formatting is limited, so it’s being hosted off-site.

Hey guys, I'm selling a set of pactio cards from the popular manga series, Negima, and I'm looking to do so asap.

These pretty hard to find among collectors and I have a complete set. There are 31 in all, have printed signatures of the Japanese voice actresses, and are new in box. This was only released in limited quantities in Japan and are difficult to find complete on ebay.

So if you're a fan of the anime or manga, please consider looking into this.

The picture included is a different set, the one you're buying is brand new and the cards are new in box.

One of my favorite things in Negima is the concept of the Pactio Card; when a mage, or any type of magic-user, enters a partner-contract with another individual, they both get a power-boost. The one who is “powering” the Pactio now has an ally in battle. The one who has made the Pactio is given an artifact; a weapon that is specialized to their abilities and personality, and when using the artifact, they have magic powers of their own.

A Pactio can be formed several ways, such as a “blood-brothers” type of thing, but the most common is a kiss Pactio.

The Pactio Card itself is really interesting; it reads in Latin (perhaps the first language that was spoken when the magic that makes Pactios was used in the Negima world), and it explains the person’s virtue, color, astrological symbol, direction, and title as a Pactio holder.

I tried to find all the official Pactio Cards by Ken Akamatsu. Most of these are colored versions from the manga, and a few are the gold holographic series.
