so my mom got us a single person paddle board and my first act was to grab the most ornate candelabra I could find, light it, and then paddle around on the lake after it got dark out singing along to phantom of the opera

As part of my goal to lose weight I joined (gasp) A SPORTS LEAGUE!!! It’s through work and it’s a dragon boat race but hey! It’s still a sports league and I practice once a week (when we can gather enough peeps to do so) and our race is in September on the great Ohio river! Not gona lie I’ve grown quite fond of the dirty thing, even though I was taught that the Ohio river is nasty and to never be touched. I haven’t grown a third leg yet so I’d say things are going alright! I’m even looking into stand up paddle boards and kayaks to buy and possibly use in my free time. If any of y’all have either/or/both let me know and give me recommendations! Water sports are pretty rad ☀️
