Little altar I've made for Lady Nyx. I made her a little statue myself, since I'm poor and I happened to have some clay. I also don't really have much space, so it small, but neat. Yay for minimalism??
I found out my tarot birth cards are Chariot and The Tower. Honestly? It's quite anxiety inducing seeing the Tower. While they both represent the troubles I've had in life, I am not sure if I can use them to be better. Or perhaps, The Tower has dominated my life and taken then steed of my chariot, drowning it and me in catastrophizing.
Seeing the Tower as a birth card gives a sense that you can never have roots that won't ever be torn out. It makes me deeply sad, as much as I know it's not what birth cards represent. They show potential struggles in your life. Perhaps I feel such great anxiety because they hit the nail on the head?
My altar has gotten quite bit bigger since I started. Plenty of offerings and gifts to Santisima Muerte 🩷🤍💙❤️💀
It is on days like these when I understand how much Santa muerte means to me, despite having not known her for that long. Just knowing that I can come to her altar with a heavy heart, I will leave with a much lighter spirit.
Oh Santa muerte, thank you for being there when I feel at my most lonesome. Thank you for offering me your hand in comfort and listening to me as I come to you. Thank you, truly.
My newest thing seems to be to obsessively make jewelry in honor of deities. I've made a necklace for Lady Nyx and Santisima Muerte, now I'm planning on making something for Charon and Dionysus.
I am swimming in stone beads and other jewelry making stuff, it's kinda ridiculous. But also fun.
I think I've gotten a bit more confident with my pendulum use. Of course I am only 80% certain the responses I get are correct.
Decided to contact Charon today. He certainly is a spirit who knows what he likes. No libations or food offerings. No coins either. He wants bells. It amuses me slightly that it was so very specific. I gave him a bell I'd gotten as a present but have not used. Interesting spirit he is, fo sho.
