why'd you enter a pageant? :)
well, to be honest i entered on a whim originally, not really thinking out of the hundred of thousands applicants that i would be chosen. it wasn’t really a big deal to me, it was mostly a situation that if i didn’t get chosen i’d be fine with that and if i did get chosen i’d be fine with that too. it was basically like i’m okay with the outcome either way.
i also thought the experience would be really interesting and would be something interesting to put on college applications- mainly because of you don’t really know me (or even if you did) i’m sure you would think that i’m the type of girl to do pageants.
i dont mean that in an ‘i’m not like other girls’ type of way but more in i like staying behind stage- i don’t particularly like the spotlight (sometimes i do when it comes to theatre and stuff, but other times, nope.) and would rather be doing behind the scenes work. which goes into the reason of doing a pageant to put myself out of my comfort zone and to gain a lot of personal growth because i pushed myself to do this.
