Like a wave
It's so weird how it will just randomly hit me that I'm a mom.
For example, I'm on Kohls.com getting the kids clothes cause they grow like effing weeds and I have $20 kohl's cash that expires today so I'm shopping.
I'm looking at all the tops and stuff and I see a shirt for Carleigh that says, "daddy's snugglebunny" and it hits me...like a punch to the gut...taking my breath away...
I'm a mom.
After the struggle with infertility (that seems sooo long ago now), the nights I thought I'd never hear the sweet laughter of babies, the times my husband steered me away from baby clothes because it was too painful...I made it through it. I'm on the other side of that mountain of pain.
I'm a mom.
