The rocking chair, the flash backs, Arthit knelt down in the same position he was in as a child, Dao sounding so apologetic that Arthit’s mother has found peace, even though that’s a good thing. The pain of disappointment as the one thing that had kept Arthit going for so many years, the idea that he could see his mother one more time being whisked away from him.
